Final review
Placed on order 5/5/2020 for overnight delivery as we were told the items were not in Wellington. 10 days later the tracking number was still showing the package sitting in Auckland. Yes, we anticipated a few days delay but not what actually went down.
Queried the situation and the response was there are issues with the couriers no one is sure where the package is exactly and it might takes weeks to find out. In the meantime Wellington had restocked the items we had ordered.
The equipment was essential so we asked if the original package could be diverted back to PB Tech Auckland and we could get credit to purchase the items that were in Wellington - PB Tech refused. They even gave us a support phone number that did not work.
We then asked for a refund. PB Tech refused that also given we had not received the items yet. They were more than happy to keep the funds hostage while it could have taken weeks to track down the package.
The only option they would allow was to order the same items again (pay twice). Then pick them up from Wellington and refund the original items whenever they arrive and/or are classified as lost.Given we needed the equipment we purchased them a second time!
Before doing so we double checked the items were in fact in stock and completed the order online live when on the phone to support. We were given assurances click-and-collect would happen the same day.
Days later no communication regarding click-and-collect and we are feeling like PB Tech has scammed us. Eventually, online support confirms what we thought was the case, Wellington didn't actually have some of the items and once again mistakes were made.......
At this point we have equipment lost in the courier and a click-and-collect order in limbo and its getting really frustrating to say the least. Contact online support again and they manage to split the order so we click-and-collect some of it. By the time we get the message to click-and-collect everything miraculously is now available.
The person doing the click-and-collect pickups in Wellington was outrageously rude. He basically barked at customers "whats your order number" "get that invoice off my desk" not a pleasant world spoken.
Eventually the items on the courier magically turn up and its back to BP Tech to arrange the refund. At least this time the guy doing the refunds was very helpful, polite and despite being busy had a good laugh - technically the refund has yet to be paid.
Overall, it is fair to say I have experienced the full spectrum of PB Tech customer service and all but the refund guy has been an exercise in frustration and incompetence. Going forward I would only buy items from these guys if you can physically take it away at the time of purchase.

Its all started with music was keep stopping so i had checked the phone and the screen was all getting bad and unable to use it so took it to pbtech wellington from where i bought it for repair , so pbtech had booked in my phone and came with conclusion after a week or so that it had been water damaged also sent me the photos but as i am 99% sure it had nt caused purposely and am totally unaware of it if it happened purposely I would never waste your time and mine . However i have requested them for refund or replacement under consumer guaranteed act as its a expensive phone and expecting it to last reasonable amount of time and also it doesnt fit for its purpose as i want it to be last good amount of time as my other 2 phone also purchased from pbtech have never had any issue but pbtech has denied it and telling me that it cant happen itself so technically they telling me that I did it purposely and just ignoring me what I am saying and gave me the quote of $541 to repair ,I can't even repair it as I am still paying off to the finance company. I hope this thing will sort it out and get on conclusion
Update: after explaining myself many times and making effort talking with pbtech head office and the sales people are just hopeless and definitely looks like they don't care a bit about their customers as in result will go into dispute. Got a second opinion and found out it was nt water damage talked to them again and appaling manager still told me they cant refund but can repair for free where they were charging me before for the repair and why they cant refund it because it was nt a big issue and it's has to be a major issue like your phone just blown out..so never trust them wat they say always get second opinion and finally they agreed to refund because i did nt let them do whatever they...

Never have i ever come across a company that sell second hand parts as brand new. Not once, but twice I was duped from purchasing off their online website. My motherboard i bought from them had thermal paste left over on the bracket from the previous person who returned it.
They charge for brand new and sell opened goods. Unsure how they would enforce manufacturer warrantY'swhen the goods have been opened before you recieve them as the consumer.
Any way ordered the first time recieved a motherboard, gpu and cpu fan that were all second hand. After multiple calls to there phone line and being passed around department to department they made me jump through hoops to get credit back with the reasoning that the a warehouse worker that packed my good must've been new.
Okay, maybe this was a one off mistake. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, reordered goods and behold here we go again. Two more motherboards that have been opened, and a gpu that has been repackaged to look like it hasn't had the seal broken.
I rang twice, got through the second time to customer service and wanted to be given credit paid to me for the second hand price. Was told they don't do that and I'd have to send my products back again. Btw everything you reoder you have to pay shipping dont forget. I said no and I'd like to speak to the manager as the people on the phone seem to have no authority, he'd just spoken to the manager in our conversation about a minute before I asked to be put through and behold the manager is out of the office?!?
I left my number and asked to be called back. 2 days later. No call returned.
I rang back 4 times later that same day. 3 calls were disconnected and the 4th was left to ring for 25minutes.
I will not be coming back to this store ever. I will be filing a complaint with the commerce comission about their business practices with pictures and emails that prove the absolute cheats this company is and how they are breaching the fair trading act and consumer guarantees act.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE DO I ADVISE ANYONE TO SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY SIMPLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT YOU...
