What a venue! What a team!

Searching for a venue in Wellington for a corporate event, I came across Whiskey & Wood. A quick phone call to Sarah to check the date we needed was available - and I very quickly noted that she was the kind of person and contact we needed to make this event a success.

The date was booked, May 2024. 90 key clients attending a milestone celebration.

Every question was answered timely and positively giving me options and solutions. Every request (and I had a few ..), all resolved and/or added to our booking with zero stress or issues. Things like photographer recommendations, florist, music, lectern, sound system, signature cocktails ... the list goes on!

The evening was a huge success, with both staff and key clients who attended raving about the evening, venue, food and all the smaller things that cumulated to make the entire evening fun, professional - a night to remember.

Having Sarah on hand during the evening was super helpful for any issues or questions that came up - she's super approachable and quick to come up with solutions or a resolve.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was hosted by Whisky & Wood - on a day where so many things changed or went wrong, Whisky & Wood was one that didn't let us down at all. Sarah was amazing with comms leading up to the day and overall planning, and although she was unable to be there on the day itself (which she did tell us well in advance), her amazing team picked up where she left off like it was nothing. Seamless transition, and full support. We genuinely felt looked after during the day.

Shoutout to Charlotte, Jono, Matt and Benji who were absolute superstars leading up to and on the day itself. Everyone was working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure we were all able to enjoy the moment. Not enough words to describe our gratitude and appreciation. We highly recommend...

We had the absolute privilege of having our wedding held at Whisky & Wood. Sarah and Lloyd went above & beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and we couldn’t be more thankful! The venue is absolutely beautiful, it’s perfect for an intimate wedding ✨

For the change over from ceremony to reception, we also hired downstairs at ‘Sweet Axe’ so guests could have some Entertainment during it! Everyone absolutely loved it!

We loved that the venue itself came as a blank space so we were able to customise the whole venue to get the look we were wanting and were able to choose some caters that we liked too! I can’t stress enough how amazing the team were to work with, we’ll be forever thankful to work with people who genuinely cared about us and our special day. Nga mihi nui team!...
