Mad Butcher will always be the best butcher for variety, price and fresh cuts of all meat. Especially this place... I actually meant to go to the $2 or more shop next door, but parked pretty close to the butcher. Anyway, I saw a sign on the butcher's window for 🐖 pork spare ribs from $17.99 and thought that would be nice for a change. So I went in for spare ribs, which BTW were absolutely worth the stop and I could've kicked myself!! $100.00 later I was loading my car with the freshest meat, cheapest milk and crispiest noodles for stir fry. Damn lol!!! Didn't have to meat shop for awhile 🤪! Excellent place!! Located just to the right of New World Mt Roskill on Stoddard Rd. May Road end of Stoddard. Really good deals Peeps. I would not steer you wrong. Get it lol!! Better go... Take care and always be safe out there!!!😊 Update on the pork spare ribs today... $9.99 per kg!!! From the looks prices fluctuate beautifully. Have to make room in the freezer first!! Happy...

I use click and collect to speed up my day sadly the mad butcher needs to up their game, I had to wait and they couldn't find the piece of paper with my order on it, PAPER? took 3x back and forth before it was found. The packing of the order was not great, mince was in a plastic bag rather than on trays - ordered 2kgs assuming they would be approx. 1kg each (as per price) and you only get it this way if you write it in the notes, more time consuming, writing each item a note e.g. 2kg chicken legs please separate into 1kgs pack, lamb chops please separate and so on. I also got and email 5 days after the collection saying my order was now complete. Weird and the guy wasn't very friendly. I wouldn't use this...

Such great, friendly service from the guys here, especially Micah. He goes out of his way for you, above and beyond, his service is outstanding and he is such an asset to the business. I also appreciate the friendly chat from Micah and the other fair tall guy, even if it’s just a friendly passing comment about the weather while you’re looking in the fridges, it makes you feel welcomed, they’re very nice young butchers. They may have had a few staff issues in the past but the young butchers there now are great and have really lifted the energy of this place....
