Escape Dunedin at Dunedin Prison — Local services in South Island

Original Review 3 years ago: I went here on Saturday. Loved the experience and everything about the room! We did 'Redemption', a prison escape room set in an actual (old) prison! I think its better that you have an immersive room from days past instead of a custom made room. Loved the challenge and hope to try some of the others soon!

Escape Dunedin Prison is such an awesome thing to do, esp with a group of with your family. Challenging your mind to escape from a room in the Old Dunedin Prison. 2 different rooms are available. The first one is in some of the cells. You bed at least 2 people to crack that one add you start off in separate cells. Best in a group of 4 I think. Second one is espionage wherein 1963 where you save the world from distruction.. I would definitely recommend that you do both of them if you can. My family and I did the Redemption game last night and it was one of the most fun Escape Rooms I have done with clever puzzles that required team communication and cooperation. However, the staff lacked customer service skills and were quite unprofessional. The opening spiel was rushed and delivered with very little enthusiasm.
