I have been debating to put a review or not cause I m not usually the type of person to do it.

I m just a bit upset about the whole experience there. From the moment I stepped into the salon and showed Carlos what I wanted, I felt judged. I thought "that s fine he s honest and I just give it a go anyway". But there are ways to actually talk to customers especially when they spent that much money. I m someone who appreciates people who are straight forward and honnest but I don't think Carlos realizes that he can come across as rude and arrogant.

Anyway the balayage he gave me was OK looking but certainly not from the standing of "one of the best salon in the world" and I emphasize that I knew that what I would get would not be exactly as the picture I showed.

I didn't appreciate the whole experience, being told "no you can't have that", "no you can't go out like that and top up your carpark", "you have too much hair" and so on... I won't go back there. Carlos has certainly some skills and knowledge but a very big lack...

Carlos did a good job with my first-ever hair colour. The treatment was nice and the finished product looked natural.

However, I am disappointed with the deception regarding the cost of the service provided. I emailed twice to ask what the full cost of the service would be, and Carlos confirmed that it would be $50, which I was charged at the time of booking. I thought I was getting a new customer deal. Afterwards, when I went to buy the shampoo, he charged me $460 for the service. I was so shocked, I couldn't convey how upset I was.

Even though I would be interested to give Helmut another go at producing the style that I wanted, how can I know if they'll charge $1,000 next time?! If you want to retain customers, do not...

This is an overdue review from an experience years ago.

I had an appointment with Carlos and I was told he normally doesn’t do Asian hair but made an exception for me. The appointment was to get foils done twice for approx $450. Only ended up doing foils once but I still got charged the same price. Wish I’d had more confidence back then to say something but I was thrown off by the Asian comment.

I also got a haircut which was the best haircut of my life. Such a shame because otherwise I would’ve gone back for that haircut every single time.
