I have NEVER walked out of a massage before in my life until I went to Eva.
I went with my partner, full disclosure she said her massage was good.
My massage was without a doubt the WORST I had in my life. Not enough oil on legs, pulling skin.
It was slow with not any effort. Going through the motions. Half the moves of my partner's masseuse.
On cross back pushdown just went through the motions, didn't pull back apart just press down.
Was uneven on my back during pressure points. Like lower on left, higher on the right.
He then stopped the massage and ate a hard piece of CANDY like a jolly rancher. Unwrapping the plastic of the candy right next to me while not massaging me. I have never had anyone be so UNPROFESSIONAL!
I was still going through with the massage because my partner looked like she was enjoying her massage. Her masseuse was focused and caring. She even gave me eyes like wow! Your masseuse is lazy. He was doing about half what her masseuse was doing.
Then when "massaging" my shoulders he pulled one of my ligaments over and it hurt really bad. I said Ow! I stopped him. I looked at the clock. 30 minutes had passed. I told him let's stop, my shoulder really hurt.
He freaked out and went to the front desk and said "30 minute stop" in an angry tantrum like voice. He then said 2 more times on the way back to the employee lounge so the entire spa could hear.
Bad attitude and no apology for hurting me tho...
I go to the front to pay, the wife of owner is there. She tried to charge me for 1 hour and 15 minutes (580 pesos) even after I told her to just charge me for 30 minutes (240 pesos). I said I will pay whatever you want but I will review you. She then tried to blame me and said I had the ability to cancel in first five minutes. I said I just pay anything but I will review you and be honest.
She then said he is one of their most experienced masseuses. I said again he was eating candy during massage... (!)
She then lowered the price to 30 minutes.
I decided to sit there and wait until my partner finished.
My shoulder really hurt so I left and my shoulder still hurts.
Positives: The male owner is a really good guy and my partner enjoyed her massage. The atmosphere is higher quality than other local massage places. Homemade ginger tea.
But without a doubt it was the WORST massage of my life. I've had a lot of massages, including overseas, and I have NEVER left a massage. However he hurt me and then tried to make me feel bad when I stopped the massage. There was no effort or kindness in his heart and he ate CANDY during the massage. He stopped massaging to unwrap and eat CANDY!
Come On! Then the female owner tried to charge me an extra 45 minutes?! This is how you run a business? I cannot. I think there are good masseuses here but I would...
Read moreI had a good 1hr Swedish massage for 500 pesos. BUT, I can’t recommend this place. The team was constantly chatting, singing, cleaning and filling buckets after buckets with water. But the worst part was, that someone did the dishes for nearly 1hr, 1 meter apart from my massage bed. Together with the noise from the Main Street, it was just way to much for somebody that is trying to relax. The team should definitely stop doing that much noise when customers are there or open an hour later when...
Read moreMassage here is good but hear me out. Came here on both days; once for 30min foot massage with Jessa and another for 2hr full body with the other female masseur. First one was a hit, second was a total disaster. (1) She kept using her phone and was not concentrating (or even looking) while massaging; (2) She dug her nose and didnt wash her hands after; (3) ZERO thai massage technique. I have been to many massage parlours before but this one really made it to the bottom. Try at...
