We went there looking to have a great experience learning to craft mugs and stuff. The speech of the lady was learnt by heart, no emotions and passion felt. We were proposed to have a try and having the possibility to learn and have the freeness to make our own design but in reality we were hardly guided, hand to hand like guiding a baby of 3 year-old. The activity was quite express so a bit disappointed in that way, especially knowing that you have to pay extra for each person wanted to try ! We finally decided to buy our own made creation for quite expensive but there were no price for a great, personal and unique souvenir from Sagada. In fact, we waited for 4 months to receive it. The packaging was looking very weak (simple carton with inside our mugs wrapped by an insignificant layer of bubble wrap. One of the mugs was cracked, our names, date of creation and Sagada mentioned were written with a marker underneath and without any care ! The colour that we decided wasn't respected at all. The quality in general looks very poor knowing that it was managed by professionals afterwards our shaping. A long wait for a big disappointment ! I would rate them 3/5 but the bad surprise deserved a final rate of 1/5. PS: they did ship us a new replacement mug but it wont replace the one that is broken (made by us). Thankfully we weren't expecting that much from them, cause we literally received the unsold one that they seem like trying to get rid off it 🤣 It's not worth it at all, a tourist trap !

First of all, we almost got lost due to miscommunication with someone who gave us directions. Got to a dead end and decided to follow Google maps, and rightly so, we arrived with enough time to spare for some pottery activities (as it was almost closing when we got there). Secondly, here are my thoughts. The person who conducted our pottery experience is friendly and downright informative. Learned a lot about clay and pot making techniques. We got the demo package and my wife got to try the hands on clay molding process (which is not free mind you)... mainly because it's a "ghost Patrick swayze" thing. It was an ok experience, but not really something I will be returning for as a recurring tourist. The clay items on sale are quite expensive (like a mug costs 800 pesos), at least for a practical person like me... but one has to understand that the process to make one takes a long time (curing and all). These definitely are specialized items, which can be personalized as well, thus the price. Overall, it was a nice experience. You can even opt to do a long walk to here (coming from town) as the weather is cool enough for a good walk, or even an early morning run.

Few minutes walk from the center of Sagada town. They charge Php200 per group for live demonstration and teaching of the tedious pottery process. Additional Php100 each person if you want to try it for yourself. You can also buy the one that you made yourself; they will send it through courier after undergoing all the process, you just have to pay additional for the shipping fee. The place is so quiet and relaxing, staff and the potters are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth the experience!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sagada Pottery, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! Crafting has always been on my bucket list, and having only taken one pottery class prior, I was beyond excited to book a 2-hour session with them.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and inspiring. My teacher was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, helping me build upon the basics I had learned before. She provided clear instructions on how to craft my objects and was particularly helpful in teaching me the correct hand placements to center the clay effectively.

Thanks to her guidance, I was able to produce not one, but six pots during the session! I truly enjoyed the process of watching the clay transform under my hands and felt a sense of accomplishment with each piece I created.

Overall, my experience at Sagada Pottery exceeded my expectations, and I left feeling inspired and fulfilled. If you're looking for a fun and creative way to spend a couple of hours while in Sagada, I highly recommend booking a session here. You...
