There is only one thing homey about this place and that is the dogs. They were the only ones who made us feel welcome.|So we bought chicken from Bontoc because we were planning to stay at a homestay my companion has booked before that allowed them to use the kitchen to cook for free. But since the caretakers weren't there we decided to check in here because they have a bonfire that we could use (said the lady at the reception). So we checked in, paid for our rooms (our mistake, we shouldn't have paid right then so we still had a chance to look for a new accommodation right after the first incident) and asked how we could cook the chicken.|Same lady from the reception said we could have the chicken cooked at their restaurant but with a charge. They were asking for 300 pesos which was worth more than the ingredients itself. After much deliberation between my friends and I, we finally decided to pay the 300 pesos and have it cooked BUT now they say that their cook is busy since the following day was a friday and they had many reservations and he had many things to cook. So we eventually went to the owner's kitchen saying this and she eventually agreed to us using her kitchen (outdoors) but we didn't like the tone of her voice and what she said to us. It's like we weren't paying. She wasn't welcoming at all. But since we were all tired and hungry, we cooked, had dinner, then we decided to have drinks at 8 pm . So we paid the a gas fee for the chicken we cooked and asked to have the bonfire lit for us and they said "it's already late. You should have requested it at 6 pm. Besides you are the only ones to use it." and I'm dumbstruck because this is part of their amenities, we paid our rooms immediately after checking in and they said we can use it but no time limit was mentioned whatsoever.|Everyone was already in a bad mood so we just had our drinks and checked out immediately in the morning.|Had a bad night in Sagada because of the worst service ever. Will never go back. Will...
