First day here in Sagada, we've been trying to look for a place to stay. This Country Inn and Restaurant easily caught our eyes while we strolled around the local place. At first, we were hesitant to proceed once we saw the room package, luckily, we were on time for the season for the discount. For now, I cannot disclose the amount they normally offer since this review might not be on point as the price might change from time to time. The spot is perfect as they offer rooms that have a view of the cityicipal province, no fancy stuff here. The majority of the hotels and places don't offer ACs as the place is really known for its strong cold weather, hot showers are the premium part of the place. For food, they only have very few on the list. We were not able to try all but I'm pretty sure they still have a long way to improve. Sagada is a place I really want to revisit, if in case Masferre Country will be the spot on top of my head to stay.

It is clear to see that the place was once built well but nothing has been added to it every since. For the price comparing it to other places nearby, it should have better and cleaner interior. Still better than some accommodations around it but it comes with the fee anyways. I hope they can do some basic interior work in their rooms. - Breakfast is okay and it comes free with the room. - They have nice food options for lunch and dinner at an affordable price. - Don’t inquire for rooms with the guy in the front who is usually serving food. Ask him to bring his manager which is a decent lady who I guess is one of the owners. Bc when we asked for room to him, he “checked” it and said no rooms available. Few minutes later we called the mobile number we found on internet and they had three available rooms which we could choose from.

I had breakfast with a friend recently at Masferré after a long morning hike. We both ordered Country Breakfast. It had bread, thin slices of fruits, three slices of tomatoes, two strips of bacon, two fried eggs, butter and three types of jams and jellies and brewed coffee. The coffee was freshly brewed and was delicious. The bread was also good. There was nothing notable about the rest of the meal. The price we had to pay for the food seemed like money wasted. The service was quick and the place had an air of class but that was just about it. There are other places where you can have a meal and get your money's worth.

IF you plan to eat here or rather stay here, Don't Bother. (Stayed 3 days and 2 nights)

Incompetent and rude staff (especially the female manager with the hoodie would often grumble sarcastic remarks) Slow-paced food service (Need to follow-up 4-5 times) Can't follow breakfast orders (Why take breakfast orders for in-house guest the night before, if you're not gonna follow the requested food to their liking...very frustrating) Not welcoming Rush hour dinner service or not, expect your order to arrive 45 mins - 1 hour Food price is not worth it. Room towels are incomplete and the female hoodie manager wanted to charge for the extra towel even though the room is good for 4, but only gave 3/4 bath towels (even had to follow-up for the towel for 15 minutes at the lobby). Internet connection (don't expect much- fluctuates most of the stay) Hoodie manager did not mention during the online conversation/booking even though she knows that we're gonna travel by car that for the parking, guest checking-in must make a separate reservation for the parking to be accommodated and that the parking is not...

This is a fine place to stay; the rooms are well kept and the staff are friendly. The food was reasonable and it's nice to be guaranteed a breakfast in an area where restaurants constantly tell you that most of their menu is unavailable (usually only at the point of ordering rather than being handed the menu). The location is also very good as it is situated almost next door to where tours are organised (which is also where they start and finish). ||The main issues we had were that the internet was sporadic and the shower was quite bad; we did manage to get the temperature to remain consistent but the power was pathetic. ||The other main issue was being woken at around 6am by church bells (which ring sporadically throughout the morning) as well as dogs barking and fighting in the early hours. This is largely out of the hotel's control and I'm not sure if there is anywhere else in Sagada that doesn't have this issue but it is very frustrating.||I also don't suggest using the laundry service unless you have to as it works out...
