I have been to Sagada at least four times for the last fifteen years and Yogurt House has always been a favorite place to go to. Whether you have just arrived in Sagada, want a good meal after a hike or just chilling, Yogurt House is the place for you. The restaurant has maintained its quaint vibe. It is not flashy like the fast food chains in the city; it feels warm and homey. Their yogurt is still delicious but their servings do not seem to be as generous as before (must be because of inflation). During my recent stay in Sagada, I had eaten at Yogurt House on several occasions. I had their yogurt, ordered their Hiker's Breakfast, tried their T-bone steak as well as their sautéed beef. Like I mentioned earlier, their yogurt is still delicious. The T-bone steak was also good. Please be warned, though, that their T-bone steak is far thinner than its American counterpart. Nothing outstanding about it but makes for a tasteful meal. I recommend the Hiker's Breakfast. It is light but substantial. Service is quick at Yogurt House. You will not get the feigned friendliness of urban restaurants and its trickery of making you order an item that you may not want. You order from the menu and get exactly that after 15 to 20 minutes. Yogurt House is owned by locals and has become, in my opinion, an institution in the tourist...
Read moreThe difference between how you treat local with international tourists is appalling.. I thought maybe the front desk lady or waiter, whatever she may be (a middle aged lady), was tired and having a bad day that's why she was impolite towards me.. Then two more pairs came in to order but she didn't even give them any attention until she saw me staring at her just staring at them. she came towards the counter and took the first pair's order. when the second pair politely asked, "pwede pong hiramin muna menu, pipili lang sa table." she had the audacity to reply with, "dito na" with an irritated tone. WOW! 😂 I thought to myself, maybe she's very tired (although there weren't many people inside). I never like judging a book by its cover. Then this foreigner (white man) came down the stairs to order more, with the menu in his hand, mind you of what she said to the other pair a while ago. 🙄 She was actually smiling from ear to ear, her molars are showing up! LADY! WHAT THE??!! SERIOUSLY??!! 😭
anyways, feelings aside, the yogurt they served me was starting to go bad, more sour than it should've been. not worth the price and the attitude. 😮💨 I ordered...

Yoghurt House, situated near the municipal center on South Rd., left me underwhelmed despite its extensive menu offering.
The restaurant boasts an array of options, spanning salads, sandwiches, pasta, meats, drinks, and yoghurt variations, including lassies and shakes.
Our selection included Aglio-olio with shrimp, Sweet Spicy Java Chicken, Roasted Pork, and Baked Chicken with Potato Rosti. The Aglio-olio stood out with its perfect preparation and delightful taste. While the chicken dishes were adequately cooked, the Roasted Pork disappointed with its dry and thin texture.
Dessert brought plain and mixed fruits yoghurt, but alas, nothing distinguished their yoghurt offerings.
Regrettably, the food's taste and quality didn't match the lofty prices. To exacerbate matters, the crowded atmosphere contributed to sluggish service.
All in all, my Yoghurt House experience proved overhyped, failing to justify...
