If I hadn't booked for 3 nights here, I would've looked for and transferred to a different place. I booked via Travelbook, paying 2k+ for 3 nights was above average considering Sagada accommodations are pretty cheap. But it was okay, because I booked a couple's room all for myself, so it was like I paid for 2 pax. ||||I arrived there around 9:30am, and thankfully, I was able to check in right away. I think it was the owner who greeted me, and referred me to another person to take me to the room. Not sure if it's just me, but a little warm welcome to someone who just took a 12hr bus ride would've taken their customer service up a notch. The staff are pretty unengaging,.. cold as the Sagada weather, maybe. LOL. ||||Anyway, so I went up to my room. There were 2 beds in there. The staff asked me if I was by myself, and when I said yes, she told me not to use the other bed. While I understand that it would save the environment if I don't mess up both bed sheets, I really think it should've been my prerogative if I'm gonna use it or not, considering I paid for the entire room. The pillows didn't look clean and had no cover, so I can't confirm if the bed sheets and blankets were fresh. I had to cover my pillow with my sarong just to make sure.||||Moving on to the bathroom, man, the toilet was nasty. You can't see it, but it smelled like it's been used too many times! That was a sure deal breaker. But since I didn't want to ruin my solo adventure, I had to buy Zonrox from the store and poured it in there. True enough, the smell went away, and the toilet looked cleaner. There's a heater, which was a good thing, but the water would be hot for a few seconds, cold for another few, and be hot again. ||||Note: No TV, no WIFI, just beds, a chair and a table in the room. No toiletries too. even tissue I had to buy! Towel can be requested for Php 50!||||Also, they have a diner but the selection is pricey. Php 180 for monggo and pork would be...

We were blown away by the Mushroom Inutom and Etag Creamy Pasta. The Mushroom Inutom is a pan-roasted chicken dish that comes with a delicious mushroom sauce. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce complemented it perfectly. The Etag Creamy Pasta, on the other hand, is a unique and flavorful dish that features Sagada's famous delicacy, Etag. The pasta was cooked al dente and the creamy sauce was rich and flavorful.
One of the best things about Salt N Pepper is the alfresco tables. They provide a stunning view of Sagada's beautiful landscape and add to the overall dining experience. We highly recommend choosing one of these tables to fully enjoy your stay in Sagada.
