A seemingly charming and comfortable hotel with good location. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main building. Rooms are a bit small and sparse but clean and well-maintained. Common areas and the grounds/garden are well-kept. Has its own parking lot—a rarity in Sagada. ||||Downsides are: Noisy, you can easily hear other guests in other rooms or hallways, noise from the street too. Plenty of mosquitoes in our room— kept us up all night and our daughter had so many bites the morning after! The water pressure for the shower was so low it’s barely a trickle and hot water is available only through the shower not through the wash basin faucet. Bed was okay but the pillows are so uncomfortably thin. There’s only one outlet in the entire room— placed in an inconvenient location at that. Wi-fi is very weak, low, and spotty. Service was ok but more often than not, there's no one at the front desk. Overall, there’s more downsides to this place than upsides for me to recommend it. But it will do if you can’t find any...
Read moreParking space in Sagada seems like a rarity so if you're bringing a car then this is the place to book. It's also located in the center of town and just a few minutes away from the tour offices and restaurants. And if you're too exhausted after your hikes to go to the street across the road then their restaurant serves good food as well. It might not be the most modern but our stay was comfortable. Consider also that you'd be staying in one of the oldest inns in Sagada that has been part of the town's history.|One of the major plus points for me was their concern for their guests. We extended our stay for an additional night (to have enough rest after a long drive) and luckily they allowed it. Also, I left an item behind and the person manning their FB page was kind enough to send it via courier--a first for me. In addition, they offer massages (for a fee) to help relieve your sore muscles after that day of walking. Queries before, during, and after our stay were...
Read moreThe hotel consists of the main building with several bungalows scattered in the grounds and a restaurant. Our room, in the main building, was small and very basic, with no facilities except a tiny table, a chair and a low cupboard with two clothes hangers. It did have a new electric shower which was a bonus. We had 9 inches either side of the bed, so manoeuvring in and out was difficult. There was only one central light which made reading difficult. The room was mostly made of timber and the walls were paper thin, we could hear the conversation in the next room, this improved our knowledge of the French language. We could not comment on the restaurant as our guide took us to a local restaurant for dinner and breakfast. This was the poorest hotel in our three weeks of travelling and there must be better places to...
