Campo Modern Grill — Local services in Wrocław

I hosted a party of 13 at Campo and cannot honestly recommend it. To start, the manager of the restaurant failed to notify the kitchen staff of my choice of the set menu. I was contacted a week prior by the manager to choose the set menu for my booking. I had responded with my choice the next day. Upon arrival I was told that the staff was not notified of our choice of the set menu and cannot deliver a part of it (the tomato cream soup, to be specific). We were offered a set menu without said item with an aperitif (a sparkling white wine) as an apology. Beyond this point are my impressions of the actual set we were served. For 13 people, we were served 3 serves of mini lamb sausages (about 6 per serve), 4 serves of squid, 3 serves of padron peppers and 3 serves of guacamole. This felt inadequate for a party of 13. The tapas were followed by disappointing steaks and by a tasty dessert. All of this took about 3,5 hours to serve, which felt like a way to get us to order more drinks. During this time we ordered several bottles of quite good but overpriced wine, while waiting for dishes to be served. All in all I give Campo a rating of 2/5 stars because everything was just okay but definitely not worth the exuberant price...

I visited Campo for my birthday with 3 of my friends. The local has a nice design, food was good, but the service lead me to leaving 3 stars only. We waited quite some time for appetizers and main courses, 1st dissapointment came when it turned out that waitress forgot about the appetizers and brought us only main courses. She asked if we want to still get them but we will have to wait a little bit... 2nd dissapointment was with drinks, we wanted to order 2nd round of drinks, unfortunately there was no more mint (it was Friday 7pm), so we had to switch the drinks. Last dissapointments with dessert. The waitress suggested good desserts, so we all went and picked different dessert (out of 5). When she came to get the order unfortunately 1 of my friends picked dessert that wasn’t available that day. This information could be given to us when we received dessert menu. Overall my steak was delicious, drinks were great, dessert as well, but we expected tge best service in Wroclaw (I received such information via phone when i was booking the table that I will be coming to the best ...

Was a bit underwhelmed with the food (service was fine), taking into account the price and how it was recommended as the best steak place in Wroclaw.

My ribeye was bland and under-seasoned. I don't know what grade beef they use but it didn't taste like prime, well-marbled beef. Texture was chewy and rubbery, and not in a good way. Bit small a portion, too, for the price. Nevertheless, it was done to a perfect medium rare as ordered- doneness was spot on.

Service was excellent though. Friendly and attentive wait staff. A taste test was offered before pouring the wine. A good selection of wines and they do make a darn good whiskey sour.

Paid 150zl for a rather small ribeye and no sides. Food was average and nothing to write home about. Bit overrated and overhyped. Would've given three stars (for the food) if not for the price.

Two stars. Will not be coming back. Will not recommend to a friend.
