Lulu Café, Wrocław – A Chaise Lounge for Your Soul and a Pastry for Your Feelings
Ah, Lulu. We don’t know who she is—but if her café is anything to go by, she’s almost certainly someone who owns at least three caftans, speaks four languages (two of them invented), and has a mysterious lover who sends her mangoes from the Amalfi Coast every full moon. This café is less a coffee shop and more a lifestyle choice—a quiet exhale wrapped in neutral tones and linen upholstery.
You don’t visit Lulu Café. You drift into it, like a feather caught in a Mediterranean breeze, or a slightly lost influencer trying to find their aesthetic. The décor screams “I summer in Mallorca but winter in my feelings.” Think: terrazzo tables, plants that are definitely more hydrated than you, and rattan chairs that whisper, “stay a while, darling.”
The croissant—dusted in icing sugar like it had just emerged victorious from a gentle snowstorm in Paris—was, I’ll admit, perfectly edible. Was it life-changing? No. But it was flaky, sweet, and behaved itself. Like a good date or a well-trained poodle. The cappuccino? A satisfactory swirl of caffeine and frothed milk, arriving in a cup that said, “I’m not here to wow you, I’m here to hold you.”
Lulu’s menu reads like a Greatest Hits of Café Culture—avocado things, egg things, sweet things, sourdough that’s probably from a local artisan who talks to his starter every night. It’s all there. Executed with casual grace. Not showy. Not trying too hard. Like someone who knows they’re attractive but still holds the door open for you.
And the service—well, let’s just say the staff float about with the kind of unhurried charm that makes you wonder if time works differently here. They smile, they glide, they eventually bring your order. It’s all part of the vibe. Nothing fast. Nothing rushed. Everything is curated for a gentle, life-is-good tempo. If you’re in a hurry, darling, you’re in the wrong film.
Let’s be honest—you don’t come to Lulu Café for culinary fireworks or barista world championships. You come because the seats are soft, the lighting makes your skin look dewy, and there’s an overwhelming sense that if you sit still long enough, you might just become more interesting.
Lulu Café: come for the croissant, stay because you forgot what stress feels like. And if you ever find out who Lulu really is… give her a wink from me. She’s nailed the...
Read moreOne star because I can not put 0. It is unbelievable how rude all the girls that worked there are. I personally will never say this comment about girls unless is necessary, but the treatment we received from them since we arrived and the way they looked at us, they have seen we sat in a place and completely ignored us with a mean face expression, I took the dirty things of our table to give them and kindly ask them for help but any of them wanted to take my order at the end I understand if they do not speak English but CLEARLY they didn't have any kind attitude towards this. She told me really meanly she doesn't understand me and at the end their attitude was just so bad that I felt uncomfortable and I left. I will never recommend this place to foreigners and not even to people from here. I hope someone does something about it. This was 2nd of May at 7:34....
Read moreI always come to this Cafe when visiting Poland. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and desserts are delicious. Why on this occasion did I order a Tiramisu and they bought one out the back that looked nothing like the one behind the glass counter. It was dark and hard, clearly not fresh! I had to send it back and have it replaced with the one behind the counter that I ordered. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially when everyone whom I was with was served the cake from behind the counter. Then when I complained the waitress tried to tell me it’s the same cake. It wasn’t! My experience was...
