Pinta is a decent craft-beer pub, a few minutes walk from Wrocław's market square. It is part of the wider Hilton Hotel complex which has a great communal grass area that is in better condition than any local park (and has a few deckchairs). It boasts a basic table-and-chairs interior and a few outdoor seats.
Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The bar is also dog-friendly. There is a screen on which sport is occasionally shown (but it is NOT a sports pub).
They usually have 20+ draft beers (plus various cans and bottles in a fridge). However, the majority of beer on tap is IPA / APA. If you enjoy stouts or sour / fruity beers on draught, there is often a very limited choice (sometimes no choice).
Prices can be incredibly high (including glasses of house wine). Always ask to try before you buy, as some of the advertised flavours can be hit-or-miss (especially the IPAs, which are often overpowered by super flowery / citrusy flavours in Poland).
Food is bar standard. I had a very bad experience once with their ostrich tatar (it was grey, even my dog wouldn't eat it, and I was ill for several days afterwards). So we usually avoid. Nachos are a strange mix of pitta bread and crisps alongside various dips.
This is very much a place we pop into with our dog for a drink or two after eating at the Czech bar opposite (Drewny Kocur) out of convenience. There are other better-value places not too far away, but it's definitely worth a visit if...
Read moreWe were accomodated in this building so we decided to go here for a dinner and drink. The space was not nice, it was dark and everything was cheap here except the prices. Outside was 17°C, but inside was even colder and after like 5 minutes sitting we realized we need to come to the bar and order from there. Even almost noone else was there except us. Long story short, red flags everywhere.
We ordered a beef burger with homemade pickes and beer. Burger was full of cheap ketchup and we didn't even notice anything special about the pickles. They served it on a small wooden board, but because the burger was full of ketchup and water (I guess from the freezer), the whole table got really dirty from it. And on top of all of this the beer was totally disgusting. Like if you let your bottle of beer opened outside...

The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and cozy, making it ideal for a romantic night out or a friendly gathering. We will definitely be returning to...
