Telkom Tygervalley Express
Yesterday 22 September 2020 I experienced the most worst client service in the above shop. First I was told that safe social distancing didn't apply in the shop I quote "Mishka Daniel Telkom rules".
Secondly, I was treated very indecently by the staff inside, after I reprimanded them on not cleansing their chairs.
Thirdly after I was told I couldn't see the manager because she was in a meeting for three hours, I and Mishka Daniel had a heavy verbal confrontation. The reason for this was because I told how utterly disappointed I was with her client service. She became very obstructive putting the blame on me for placing a wrong order. I remember very well I placed an order for a wireless WIFI. And like any old human being not familiar with the new technology allowed Mishka in offering me a lockdown promo. I even told the technician that I wanted wireless but he insisted on installing a line which I thought was the connection for the wireless. After the installation went blank on Telkom side the technical site sends me a sms to a cell phone I had some 7 years or so or more because of a computer I had installed with a land line. Nobody considered to contact me on my current cellphone no. which I gave Mishka at the time of me placing the order. I have record of two gmails sent to Mishka with no return response, just a phone call that she will follow up on the delay but this also went blank

Your technician came Friday to install the wifi.
He could not complete the installation because he said something about cables missing at the main box.
Can you confirm whether he has reported this and when can we expect the installation to be completed.
He did not phone when he were to arrive and he was not wearing a mask.

   Read moreMy friend and Iâs laptops were stolen out of his car yesterday at this mall, in the paid parking lot, in broad day light. We locked the car before getting into the mall. Both bags were in the boot and we placed them there before driving to the mall, we didnât even check the boot at the mall to display its contents. Nothing else was stolen except the laptop bags (with our laptops inside) and my friendâs walletâs contents .
There was a camera very close to where we parked and a car guard making rounds/helping people park. After the incident, however, the mall security told us they were not allowed to show us the footage in order to check for suspects. We were told we had to go to the police first and log a case, return with an officer and he would then have authorisation to view the camera footage. The security was very nonchalant and not helpful. The car guard stood quietly observing and was not helpful at all. We logged a case at a SAPs station in Bellville. A SAPs officer went today (which is the next day) and couldnât view the camera footage either because of password control on the security systems. More outrageously, the officer also told us that the mall security never reported the incident which they promised to do once they had viewed the footage that evening (we phoned several times and they told us they had viewed the footage and could confirm that someone had broken into the car and stolen the bags).
Honestly, our suspicion is that the mall security was in on the theft and they coordinated/played part. Itâs absurd how unhelpful and gate-keeping they were with the whole thing and how they lied to us and kept the SAPs officer from viewing the footage as well.
Stay safe people! Donât trust these malls and whatever level security they have because it is unreliable, or even behind...
   Read moreThe strangest thing about this centre is there are only 3 supermarkets where you can food. Those are Woolies, Pick 'n Pay and Game. Woolies and Pick 'n Pay have fresh cooked choices available, whereas Game only has packaged food. My favourite part of the centre has Cafe Latino great service and good for a snack or Irish coffee. Directly opposite Cafe Latino is a tiny shop: The Velcet Cake Co they specializes in CUP CAKES đđ§and the different varieties are mind boggling, so be prepared to stay a while trying to make up your mind. Right to next the the cup cake shop is m.eat, they may have great biltong, but the service I received yesterday 10 May 2021 was so off hand and patronizing that I literally cancelled my order and left the store. Why would anyone work as customer service person then treat their customer like a nuisance? It's worth visiting the shop to witness a text book case of "worst customer treatment in the entire mall"! The irritating thing about Tygervalley are the infernal escalators đ Every single time without fail there is a non working escalator, sometimes even two not working. It is a real hassle when the centre is busy and shoppers have to try and squash past each other. People also go in both directions on one escalator and it is a miserable shambles. It defies description that centre management is unable to fix such a small thing that causes so much mayhem. Monday 10 May the escalators I used to enter and leave the mall were broken. Feb 2024 and EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to Tygervalley there is a minimum of ONE broken esculator. It's outrageous, specially when people insist on walking the wrong direction of an usually UP or DOWN esculator, causing a bottleneck confrontation of angry shoppers.
