For the June edition of First Thursdays, I wanted to do something different from the typical gallery hopping and street food that I usually do.
I saw an ad on social media that showed The Chef's Studio was doing their first 'First Thursday' event, which included tasting small bites. As a foodie I was excited about this idea. Also, I've had The Chef's Studio as a bucket list item for some time.
On arrival, I was greeted by one of the staff who explained what was going to happen and offered me a drink whilst I waited for the event to start.
After some time, Chef Ukhonanye started bringing out delicious dishes for us to taste, and my oh my, we were treated to the most delicious food. I was in food heaven, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

And we encourage everyone looking for a beautiful evening with good music, better food, and...

There didn't seem to be an option to take what you had made home. After plating our dishes, we sat down to eat and the rest was cleared away. I feel like they should let you take your leftovers home.
The chefs are really talented and helpful though and I learnt a lot!! :D
Also, just an FYI for those with social anxiety that you will be dining with strangers at...
