I ordered a custom square cake of 26cm. We drew them a life size example of how the cake should look. It wasn’t a difficult cake. All we wanted was a chess board (black and white squares) printed on the top of the cake. (We didn’t even request the chess pieces, as I made them myself. They RUINED the cake. They did not print the picture correctly??? A chess board is 8 by 8 squares. (I even sent them a picture to print), and they printed a chess board that was 9 AND A HALF SQAURES by another 9 and a half squares. Charged me extra for printing!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. Would have loved to take the cake back and have it corrected but there wasn’t enough time, and I also didn’t trust them to not further mess up the cake on the morning of the party. My grandmother and mother and I, fixed the cake at home before the party and used icing to hide the atrocious mess they gave us. So so angry. I will never stop telling people how much of a mess they made so that no one else buys such an expensive cake and gets put in my position!!! 😡😡😡

Read moreWe regret to say that the Centurion Mall branch of Milky Lane was a real disappointment. At a previous visit to the same branch we were served very thin waffles - much thinner than usual. This second time around we specifically indicated that the previous waffles were very thin and we requested the amount of batter to be adjusted in order to prevent the waffles from being so thin again. Our waiter, Abigail, requested the lady making the waffles that we had very thin waffles the previous time. We do not know how she managed it but this time the waffles were even thinner. We regret that we did not take photo's. We did however inform the manager that we will advise our friends to rather go to other Milky Lane outlets and we will not go to this branch again. We feel really sorry for Abigail, the waitress, as she had no control over the product. The manager wanted to make us new waffles but we...
Read moreI had a bad experience at milky lane today the 14th of October at Centurion mall, I ordered an ice cream cone (plain) that fell on me while licking it and when I saw that the cone is actually empty, I took it upon one of the staff members to show them that it's empty and one of them (Tinashe) explained that they don't fill in the cone with ice cream from the inside. I didnt comprehend that because in normal circumstances for the ice cream not to fall while licking it would need support or like some kind of base to support it from falling. I feel like from that experience I didn't receive guest/customer satisfaction...
