I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at Ocean Basket Centurion yesterday during supper. I have been a loyal customer for over four years, and this used to be my favorite branch due to the friendly staff and excellent service. However, over time, I have noticed a steady decline in both service quality and staff professionalism.

Each time I visit, the service gets worse, and the staff become more unfriendly and unprofessional. What’s even more frustrating is that it seems like we are treated differently because we order the lunch box specials, which are more affordable. It’s as if the level of service depends on how high the bill is, which is completely unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction.

To make matters worse, the issue with your stamp reward system was the final straw. The stamp clearly stated that we were entitled to a free starter on our next purchase, yet when we tried to redeem it, the manager refused and insisted that it should have been claimed on our last purchase. Not only was this inconsistent with the promotion, but the manager was also extremely unfriendly and dismissive, making the entire experience even more unpleasant.

After yesterday’s experience, we honestly don’t feel like returning to this branch again. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place we once loved deteriorate like this. Thanks to the manager who managed to calm me down after being approached by a disgraceful customer whom I have never set eyes upon previously. This lady approached my 6 year old child who has a condition called tourettes syndrome which effects his behavior when he is tired or stressed. He was having one of his bad days which is very mild, but he didn't disturb these people in the least. He was just being impatient because he was hungry. Without having any knowledge of my son or myself this woman had the nerve to directly look at my 6 year old and tell him that he has no manners because it is clear that his mother doesn't teach him any. I was on the verge of knocking this woman out but managed to control my anger understanding that my child would be in an bad state if I did anything of the sort. My request to everyone who sees parents with kids that seem to be misbehaving. Please do not approach nor judge too quickly. Alot of parents are dealing with kids that have ADHD, TOURETTES SYNDROME, AUTISM AND OTHER ISSUES. Do not make a difficult situation even more difficult if you do not understand a situation. Rather educate yourselves. This lady was clearly more than uneducated by what I could see and she just needed to boost her ego by harassing a 6 year old boy without understanding anything about him. And to the people working at oceans, please, if you do see something like this please remove such people. Because my child was not making a scene at all. He was just being a child. Thanks again.
