I'm usually comfortable spending the price for these boxes of ice cream, we probably buy at least twice or thrice a week. However last week, I felt ripped off when I get home from the Newmarket store to find that the box of ice cream is literally full of marshmallow fluff. Complained to HQ, who advised me to go back to the store and get another box.....so I must put time aside, and fuel to go back to Newmarket from Brackenhurst to collect a box of ice cream which is substandard and the fault of yours...well thanks for doing me a favour Paul's Ice Cream....remember you are not providing a service, people spend their hard earned money on your product.    Read moreI ordered 2 birthday cakes for 2 different children. On collection i noticed the image for each cake had been mixed up. Paul's ice-cream could not rectify the error in time for the parties. As the cakes had the children's names on the them i had to give them the cake with their name on - therefore each child received the wrong flavour cake. I complained and was offered an R80 refund per cake on cakes that cost R370 each. Good luck to anyone ordering a special cake with a specific flavour...
