National Children's Science Center — Local services in Seoul

This place exceeded our expectations. It was not big but everything was very well designed and interesting. My kids absolutely loved this place.

What makes this place awesome is that there are lots of hands on experiments you can do and you can actually learn something from those experiments. They are not just presenting you with some information and facts, but you can actually visualise some of the abstract concepts. My favourite ones are the proof of the surface area of a triangle, Pythagoras theorem and the mixing colours.

Good place for young kids. Explanations are almost all in Korean but you can largely work out how to interact with the exhibits. Though as a parent you cannot explain the purpose of what the exhibit is meant to achieve. Staff with limited English so there were a lot of panicked looks when i tried to engage with them. Small science center for kid. You must make a reservation before you go. Tickets are inexpensive, about $1.5 per person, free for young children.
