I don’t usually write a review but this was the worst massage of my life, waste of money and time. An older lady was my therapist, I asked for a sport massage or something stronger. She did not asked anything at all, nothing about possible injures, preferences or painful areas. Being a sport therapist myself I really expected a great experience. She applied the same pressure everywhere, all muscles, all areas, all level of tightness. Without warm up she started massaging my arm with her elbows. I asked her to go with a bit less pressure specially on the small muscles and very tight areas. Then she just been stroking me for the rest of the session. I was keep asking for more pressure at least 4 times, its been totally ignored. Jumping from one area to another, scratching my head then moving to my back after 2-3 strokes. She left me in the room without any comment for minutes apparently to wash her hand. Half way through after the nonsense stroking , I asked her if she can at least change to traditional thai and use some of those movements. She said ok and continued stroking me. Did not target any of the trigger points, tight or problematic areas. I get massages very often and this was way below average. Very dissapointing. They ask you to pay when you enter for a reason. If you want a very relaxing, someone barely touching you kinda experience then I guess its ok but defo nothing to do with athletic well being, thai massage or deep tissue massage. I was in the area with my husband business trip. We both from Manhattan. As you know New Yorkers love to walk. Especially when we are on the trips we walk a lot to explore the City. I found the thai spa. At first we couldn’t decide should be go in. We don’t wanna spend money for bootlegs experience. In Manhattan you find a lot of body work place that they don’t know what they are doing. First we went in the spa locate inside the hotel. There is a beautiful lady very friendly offer us some drink while we were looking for the body work package. Wow it’s only 50C per hour. Great deal. Beautiful place, nice touch before we went inside the room they. Hand rise our feet. My hubby love deep tissue work , he said it was great and he got the package with 2 thai ladies 4 hands. I just did my with one ladies body work with aroma oil massages . It’s that’s comfortable till I felt asleep after the first 15 mins. It’s reasonable price. Just returned from my second massage at Best Thai Massage. I had a duo massage with my Mam last month, 90 minutes of sheer heaven. We loved every second of it, so I knew I had to return on this holiday to have another. I'm hoping to squeeze another one in before I go home. The staff are so lovely and welcoming when you arrive.
