The moment you start walking the narrow streets of Segovia, you immediately smell, the aroma of sweet delicacies billowing from somewhere. The smell led us to a shop that specializes in different candies and other sweet snacks. Outside, there was an employee, handing out free samples of a coconut snack, covered in sugar and caramelized. Just let us into the store, which was like a Willy Wonka experience. All staff were very friendly and gave us tons of free samples of different, yet delicious items.

I just love this shop. They are always so generous with their tastings. I’ve bought quite a few items including their nougat peanut bar, the roasted almond bar, the sesame seed bar and the pistachio bar. But my favorite is the sugared seeds.
