Tecnolaser Vision Clinic Clinic (Santa Justa) — Local services in Seville

I lived in Lisbon but found Tecnolaser Vision on Google while researching for a Clinic for Lasik surgery, I was amazed by how positive all the reviews are, so despite the fact that Sevillia is 5 hours of drive, and that I speak not a word of Spanish, I decided to book a consultation appointment online and went for it.

I arrived on 11th Sep. and went for the consultation 12th Monday, in the beginning I was a bit worried, mainly due to the language barrier, some of the nurse/assistant spoke good english, some not at all, but it didn't create any trouble actually, the clinic was very organised and every step was ran with order.

When it was the turn to discuss the test result, they kept me waiting in the hallway for a while, just when I was wondering what's going on, a kind lady called Estrella (hope am not mistaken, please let me know) arrived and told me she's going to be my translator, it was a really nice surprise, and erased all my worries/concerns about not understanding important details, I was assigned to Dr. Amian together with Estrella, he explained to me everything I needed to know before making the decision: if my eyes are suitable for operation, what options we have, and his recommendation. I went for LASIK femto and not SMILE since my myopia isn't that heavy and only a little layer of tissue should be removed, and it would leave room for correction in case.

I planed only a week of stay in Sevillia, so I asked if they can kindly squeeze me in and find a schedule for the time I'am here, they were so accommodating that they gave me a slot on 15th Thursday the same week which means I could also come for the revision on 16th Friday before hitting the road back to Lisbon.

Before leaving the clinic that morning I was given a brochure that explains what medicines and eyedrops to buy, before cares and aftercare advices to follow, and the operation agreement to sign.

I was super happy about it and enjoyed a few free days before the operation in Sevilla with my partner and we had an amazing time. My mood was light as I knew all was going to go well.

And it arrived the day of the surgery, Estrella was with me, and actually she was always there to accompany me every time, she made sure that I understand everything and have all the information I need. It went super well, and the operation lasted just 15min or so, I felt safe in the operation room, I knew I was in good hands, I followed the instruction that Dr. Amian gave with his calm voice, and it was a pleasant and a bit spacey experience (because of the medicine and the fact that you are looking at some colourful light and also the room looks kinda like a space ship lol)

Afterwards I was given some protection gears and suggestions on how to take care my eyes for the first day, I went back to the hotel immediately after, and I had a huge nap.

The next day I went for the checkup (which is the most important one) I could already see 90%, apart from being a bit sensitive to strong light, there were no other discomfort. And The Dr gave then a detailed advices on what to and not to do after the surgery and we scheduled another revision in 2 weeks (in person or remotely if all is well)

I waited until now to write the review because I would like to see how it will be when my eyes are fully stable, and I have to say am super! duper! extremely! happy about the result, that I discovered Tecnolaser, it literally changed my life, I've been wearing glasses since my teen and let along the fact that it gave a nerdy look, it was troublesome and very inconvenient as I had to always remember to not forget my glasses, it was a pain each time I go to swim or a spa, and was always stressed when I travel, the list goes on, and now those problems are erased completely.

I can't be more grateful for the whole team and especially lady Estrella and Dr. Amien, I know probably for them it was just another regular day, but for many people like me, our life was not the same anymore the moment we walked out the clinic, and it's now more clear...

I have done my ICL surgery in this clinic in April of 2022, but decided to wait a little longer before leaving my review. Just some other reviewers, I live in Lisbon and speak zero Spanish. I had been searching online for a good eye surgery clinic and have chosen this one due to a superpositive rating on Google. Everything went smoothly for me: I have first made an evaluation and chosen the most fitting type of surgery together with Dr. Mariano, who made his best effort to explain everything in plain English. Then I have come the second time to Seville for the first eye surgery, and finished off with the second one week later. The surgery itself was very quick and painless. My recuperation finished without any complications. There are always many people in the waiting room of the clinic which served as a good indicator for me at the time. Excuse me, Dr. Mariano, for not coming the fourth time 3 months later for the final review though :) I have been seen by local oftalmologists and they said that everything is fine with my ICLs. I have no complaints either. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who needs help with any sort of eye issues. Once again, big thanks to all the team that works there and takes care of...

Aún recuerdo el dolor que sentí cuando siendo apta en mis oposiciones a las fuerzas armadas, el médico militar me dio un "no apto" debido a mi defectuosa agudeza visual. Gracias a mi actitud resiliente al día siguiente me puse a averiguar clínicas dónde poder corregir el último obstáculo que me separaba de mi sueño y encontré Tecnoláser, pregunté a una amiga que se operó aquí y me proporcionó el contacto de Pedro, el director de la clínica. Y aquí es donde comenzó mi aventura hacía lo idílico. Apenas sin darme cuenta, me encontraba el 9 de Enero esperando a ser intervenida por el método de lentes intraoculares, y mientras esperaba sola en la antesala del quirófano, empecé a recordar mi sueño, lo mucho que deseaba vestir el verde, y como dardo tranquilizador, el trato tan cercano de Pedro, que fue mi maestro, mi sargento, regalándome sus conocimientos y enseñándome todo el procedimiento a la perfección de cómo iba a ser todo, las enfermeras y su trato excelente, tratándome de lo mejor, como buenas soldado ante una compañera en apuros, y pensando en el Doctor Amián Cordero, que vendría con toda la artillería para curarme de manera tan idílica, como me ilustró sobre la operación. Llevo tres meses operada gracias a las benditas manos de Amian, y los resultados no han podido ser mejores, superaron mis expectativas en una guerra complicada en la que ellos siempre tienen la mejor estrategia. Mis respetos, mi agradecimiento y enhorabuena al equipo tan maravilloso que forman, donde todos son piezas clave, desde las administrativas, los anestesistas, cirujanos o limpiadoras, y por supuesto a Pedro, al que puedo considerar un amigo.
