THE JEWELRY IS NOT WORTH THE HIGH PRICES. I got a couple rings, necklaces and a watch. Something for myself and a few family members. Total ~$300 USD. I went overboard, I know. I just loved that they are “handmade” and just how beautiful they looked. They also somehow get you by offering a “30% discount,” which is insane considering it’s still overly priced even after the discount. I wore one of the rings and the watch immediately, only to find them completely rusting about 3 days later. For something priced so highly I would expect better quality!! For that kind of quality I’d just get something from Amazon. By the time I noticed I was already in a different city with my tour. Otherwise, I would have went back to complain. I got sucked into the tourist trap, unfortunately.

The little tour they do isn’t that great either. I could barely understand the lady who did mine. Overall, it’s a cute place to visit and learn some history but don’t fall into their trap. I read another review that said to wait until you get into town and I agree!! Probably same quality for a way...

I visited this factory on tour. The demonstrations were brief but very informative. After the demonstrations, we went to the shop where I bought the most unique dinner knives for my dining room table. I was delighted to see that the factory was offered enough selections for a service of 12.

I used one of the knives to trim raw chicken when I got home and was thrilled about how sharp and well-made the knives were!! So happy I splurged for this last-minute purchase.

Tips: Get your tax-free receipt if you're spending a chunk of change. Try to go on a pre-booked tour through an agency –I got a 20% discount for simply being on the guided tour. I went with Amigos tours booked...

VERY UNSCROUPULOUS SHOP. DO NOT buy from here !!! They did a bait and switch on my wife with a knife for my birthday. While traveling, she selected a knife for $440 they charged her and boxed it up. When out of town ready to return she opened box and it was a different knife valued at about $220 EUROS. I contested with credit card and they said knife they showed her doesn't exist. Yet they charged $440 E for a knife that they switched out that is worth ONLY $220 E FRAUDSTERS TOURIST RIPOFF ARTISTS BAIT AND SWITCH DO...
