CeX — Local services in Valencia

I returned my broken phone here on Wednesday as it was still under guarantee and had completely died. I was told they would call me on Friday afternoon to give me an update, and to call them if I didn't receive a call. I called up at 4pm and was told to call back at 17:30pm. I called back at 17:30pm on the dot, and since then I have called over 50 times and received no answer. It is now Saturday morning and I have already called 5 times and no one has answered. I can't just go to the shop because I live over an hour away and have an extremely busy work schedule - I don't even know if they've looked at the phone yet or decided a resolution. So basically I'm completely at the mercy of these people and have to wait and hope that they call me, or eventually I might have to pay for the train in and take hours out of my day to MAYBE get a replacement or my money back - I currently have no idea because they won't answer my calls! I have called over and over again. I have tried calling from other numbers and phones. They just will not answer. It is beyond infuriating, I am currently without a properly functioning phone and have two jobs and no time whatsoever to deal with this situation. And I know their phone line is working and they are using it because occasionally when I phone them it says "line busy" - meaning they are on the phone.

Of course nothing will come of it, they will hide behind store policy and "we were busy" (aren't we all?) and I will just have to tolerate it. So really I'm writing this just to get it off my chest because I'm so annoyed. Of course it will not affect their bottom line at all and the only person who will lose out here is me. Some basic level of communication is a non-negotiable when you are charging money for a service, it doesn't matter how busy you are.

The reply will be "Please fill out this online form to tell us about your problem!" which will not help whatsoever. I need contact with the store, not some pointless customer service survey. And I am quite certain that nobody will help with that and what will have to happen is I will have to go there myself and hope that they have already looked at the phone, if not I will have completely wasted a trip during my extremely limited time off from work. It is an insult.

EDIT: It is now Sunday and they are still not answering the phone. It has been 4 days since I dropped the phone off, I don't have a functioning phone and will probably have to get the train there next week in the middle of a work day because they couldn't be bothered to contact me or just answer the phone. Why have a phone if someone rings it over 100 times and you don't answer? What...

kati es muy buena trabajadora en cex de Fernando el católico, pero debería dar mas abrazos, te escucha, esta atenta, te respeta y te ayuda mucho, yo me gustado siempre, pero tendrá su novio, pero es muy buena trabajadora, hay otra personas que quieren acabar rápido y te lo hacen pasar mal, en cex de Benimaclet, son los mejores porque lo hacen rápido y bien, y te ayudan mucho y te comprenden, lo llevan bien, en cex de ruzafa algunas personas lo llevan bien, pero a veces tienen fallos pero lo solucionan, a veces tienen productos para mañana y son muchos y no lo tienen mirado hasta mañana y ellos existen mañana, hay productos en malas condiciones como una supernintendo en mal estado y no se puede comprar eso, la caja el mando, a veces en las consolas vienen con mandos genéricos y no tienen el original, dan poco dinero por los productos que se venden en la tienda y luego cuestan mucho mas comprarlos, debería tener un carnet con un numero y una foto y tener puntos por cada compra que hagas y te diera dinero, y en cex en torrente, esta bien, pero esta muy lejos, pero la combinación ahora no se puede ir por la dana, y no se sabe si para el autobús cerca o tienes que andar, bueno es una tienda preferida mía la cex de Benimaclet, y la de cex de ruzafa, la Fernando católico, algunas personas, no me agradan y hay gente nueva, que lo paso mal y me lo hacen pasar mal y parecen que no están espabilados y pero son nuevo que le vamos a cex, también voy a otras tiendas, pero mas o menos la tienda cex es la mejor y mas material, bueno o malo y a veces en condiciones y otras no, vienen si el cargador del móvil, y por ahora solo en juegos he tenido problemas y en la supernintendo no estaba en condiciones, de estado, me tratan bien todas las tiendas, pero quieres buscar algo esta en otro sitio lejos y no puedes comprarla, deberían pedir la consola y traerla y si el cliente la ve en condiciones comprarla... Estoy contento y el trato de algunas personas es bueno y a veces no hay buen trato, por acabar enseguida las cosas y corriendo y deprisa.... Podían vender mega drive, en otros sitios venden, a buenos precios y mas consolas retro, ahora en cex hay algunas retro... Podía ver un carnet de socio y acumular puntos en las compras y venta y descontar dinero y ganar dinero y beneficio por cada compra, me tratan bien en cex, pero hay gente que no me gusta que este en la tienda, pero se porta mejor a lo mejor o peor, y me molesta que se pongan asi conmigo, yo estoy desde el primer día en cex Fernando católico, y miro a ver a ver si algo puedo comprar y hay cosas están muy caras y dan poco dinero por ellas de compras que tendria que dar mas cuando me desago de ellas, la pagina de cex, esta bien, me costo entenderla pero pude apañarme para saberla, si compras online puede llegar a tu casa o en...

I bought a mobile off them one week ago and today I had to bring it back to the store because I discovered the front camera is not functioning correctly and the phone apps are repeatedly crashing.

I brought it in and asked for a refund on my Item and they told me they couldnt give me one. I told him that the phone is faulty and I just want a refund, he then said CEX dont give refunds. It does not make sense as in Ireland and the U.K CEX the policies are different. Yet they are the same company. This store I would give 0 stars.
