Total RIPOFF and unfriendly tour guides! They promise you 4 bars with free shots, free entry to 1 club, free transport and discounts in the bars... REALITY: first you wander around the city and wait in front of hostels, for about 1h in total, just to pick up other clients from other hostels. Then they RUSH you from bar to bar. bars are free entry anyway, the free shot is the cheapest hangover-drink you can imagine, the discount in bars is just a LIE (if they see your wristband they first make you a higher price, then they give you a discount to "normal" price if you ask for the "discount"), it is all in walking distance (if not they just take you by public bus (would be 1,5⬠normally). Entry to club is 3-5⬠depending on the club. They go to the club at 4am, most of the people were too tired then and went home anyway. I suggest you just follow the "pub crawl crowd" without signing up and without paying the overpriced 15⬠(noone can forbid you to go into a bar). In that way you can also meet the people, are part of the group, are flexible, decide at 4am if you really want to go to the club and get it all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked a pub crawl activity several days in advance through FreeTours. I paid to book. I arrived at the meeting point 15 minutes before the set time, and nobody showed up. I wrote to the organizers and event the receptionist who worked at the hostel (which was the meeting point) tried to contact them and nobody responded that night. Apparently, they didn't mean to have that date on the system. I would have understood that. But they had several days to realize they made a mistake and let me know (I even wrote them the day I booked to ask about the address and they answered). The whole thing was unprofessional and disorganized. I wouldn't recommend it. It was really disappointing. They said they would refund what I paid (it's still pending) but it is not about the money but about the time I lost and the fact that I only came to valencia for a few days, and I didn't plan anything else for that night because I was...

Our tour guide was Leon, who although he had only been in valencia and running tours there for 9 weeks, was very knowledgeable on much of the history, but not just off Script, able to answer many questions aswell. After the tour he even joined us for a quick beer, and pointed my partner and I to good cheap locations not known by tourists as well as directions and local transport to a beach a little bit out of the way and less populated for the following day. Top guide and...
