Really great food at a nice square with a lovely vibe. The food is very delicious with great flavour combinations. There were loads of options so there's something tasty for everyone. Recommend checking them all out at least once! ;) The concept of pintxos bars is pretty unique so its really fun to experience it. You can also order other foods beside the pintxos as well. It's a great price/quality ratio too. The staff was lovely and don't mind showing you the ropes. I highly recommend checking this place out if your'e in need of a quick but nonetheless very tasty snack. (For those unfamiliar with the concept of pintxos(pinchos) bars, its a self service restaurant where you grab what you want and when you're finished eating you count the amount of skewers you have so you pay based on that amount!)

Nestled within the historic charm of La Plaça Redona in Valencia's El Mercat district, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. Whether it's a leisurely lunch, an intimate dinner, or simply savoring a glass of wine amidst captivating surroundings, this spot delivers on all fronts. The staff exudes warmth, courtesy, and exceptional attentiveness, enhancing the overall ambiance. Their diverse menu boasts an array of enticing options, with the octopus dish being a standout favorite. With its central location amidst neighboring plazas, securing reservations, especially for evening visits, is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. In summary, this establishment comes highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey enriched with history and hospitality.

It was our first restaurant to visit on our trip. The reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. The waiter was friendly and spoke some English. There's a wide variety of Pintxos, 2.2€ each, which is somehow expensive as this isn't a very big restaurant. To be fair some were good, and some were very regular with nothing special at all. We had a salad which was good and rich. The patatas bravas was something special at first but when we tried it at other restaurants, we discovered this one was very regular in comparison. Overall not bad for trying the Pintxos.

Woefully horrendous experience. Inedible food, deeply apathetic servers. One star for the Tempranillo. My dining companion and I ordered three “homemade” (should've been a warning that needed to be spelled out - gaslighting signal!) tapas, and each had a pintxo with a glass of Tempranillo. We tried the croquettes (one cod, one ham); mixed seafood; and seasonal fungi with crispy ham and Parmesan foam. None of it was edible. The mixed seafood was a mayonnaise-based fish salad of sorts; the croquettes tasted like they were microwaved from a bag (think: fish sticks); the soupy mushroom situation was lukewarm, cold in spots, and had barely any of the advertised “crispy ham” in addition to a lackluster foam. Moreover, the service was abysmal. We had to hunt down a waiter to take our order (maybe he was trying to save us from our fate?) and nearly poured our own glasses of wine due to inattention. When we were ready to end the misery, we let the bartender/waiter know how displeased we were with the food, and how we couldn’t even eat it. They just kind of shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. $40 down the drain. :( The best we can hope for now is to save others from making the same mistake we...

I have a weird situation here. I came with my wife and kid, we sat outside, the waiter was quick and polite, the food was just ok, nothing special. I could make better pinchos with my eyes closed, literally. We moved inside because of the wind and my kid was sneezing. We had fun, the atmosphere was great, I was more relaxed than ever. We had a great evening, my wife, my kid and me. I payed every round as I ordered it. When I wanted to pay for the last round, the waiter and the boss wanted me to pay some more things wich I already payed! I think they were wrong, I honestly think that they had no intention to trick ME, I sure hope so. I have my own catering company in Austria, I do gastronomy for aprox. 25 years so I know exactly what I eat and drink when I am in a restaurant or in a bar. And all the tables around me. My professional deformation. In the end, I didn't pay for the stuff they wanted me to pay, but I didn't feel nice to be accused for something I didn't do. Anyway, with a hope that wasn't their intention, I give them a 4/5 because my wife, kid and me had a great time...
