Indian Gourmet — Restaurant in Yaiza

The food is nice. Had a takeaway last week that was lovely, and again today the food itself was very good. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

The ordering process is a complete nightmare. I called the number and got no answer. When I finally got through, I was told to WhatsApp the order instead, which I did, but received zero confirmation that it was even received. I asked when to collect, but got no reply, so I had no choice but to just turn up and hope for the best. I ended up waiting around 15 minutes, which would be fine if it wasn’t for the complete lack of communication.

Got home and realised two breads we had paid for were missing. Tried to call, no answer. Messaged on WhatsApp again, completely ignored.

The food might be good, but the service is honestly shocking. No communication, no accountability, and no interest in resolving issues. Not worth the hassle. I won’t be ordering again and...

I'm very disappointed. Staff: at first, surprise, you stand at the entrance, wait... wait... and the staff at the bar pretends not to see you. when someone decides to come over, you get a table and wait and wait and wait. I think they have 4 sets of menus because despite the few guests, we waited for the couple next to us to order food and the menu from their table was brought to us. I understand that it's just work, but the whole crew looks like they're there as a punishment, no smiles, no joy, they do you a favor by taking your order. Food - unfortunately, a lottery. Some very good, some very average. The chicken is definitely not fresh. The meat is very dry, the dish is clearly reheated. Raw onion on a hot plate, no sauce, no oil, nothing. The food wasn’t what it should have been. I could do better myself. No atmosphere at all. Employees weren’t happy. The service was especially poor. They were training people and thought that was ok for us to get poor service. Just because it’s not peak season doesn’t mean I have to suffer rubbish service and everyone being trained. At one point we had 4 people staring at how to serve wine to us.They didn’t know how to serve drinks. Many of the drinks weren’t available so why have them on the menu ? The menu had...
