Rubicón Shopping Centre — Local services in Yaiza

Sadly the Rubicon marina has badly evolved in the past few years and what was known as a 4 stars marina has become a bad experience for many sailors berthing at Rubicon and complaining about the bad management and the many issues they are facing, mostly when booking and paying in advance for a longer stay. Indeed too many sailors agreed that they have been deeply deceived by feeling unwelcome, the amenities conditions and the overall poor management at Rubicon marina. First of all marina Rubicon, unlikely any marina in EU is measuring every vessel upon arrival and thus berthing fees are now calculated according to the overall length of vessels including their dinghies and overall structures and not their initial Pavilion letter's specifications (up to 3 or 4 meters have been added in some case, affecting considerably the berthing fees). Secondly, the water service at marina Rubicon costs 15 eur to fill up water tank and it is now forbidden to spray/wash the boat as well as to fill up any other tank, bottles etc. Note that usual water service costs between 8 to 12 eur max (Balearics). The advertised wi-fi in the marina's brochure is in fact not working throughout the entire perimeter of the marina (only available at the one sailor bar) and marina's guests/clients are complaining that it is impossible to connect their devices through 4G as well due to the existing and defect wi-fi installed equipment throughout the marina and interfering in connectivity. A lot of complaints have been issued and transmitted regarding the unhelpful and unwelcoming behavior of some staff members at Rubicon which are also deceiving the marina's clients and their guests during their stay, mostly when berthing fees have been paid upfront. Since few weeks sailors staying at Rubicon marina are complaining that the showers amenities are providing cold water only, management's answer to the problem is that they are currently working on it, yet it still hasn't been resolved to this date. Few sailors having booked at marina Rubicon for longer period are communicating their discomfort of feeling monitored in their activities and movements within the marina. Finally we believe that it is important to inform any newcomers that there is a huge new commercial center construction site near the marina's entrance which greatly affects the quietness and spreads dust and sand all over the area. Overall and for the time being we can only give a one star in our evaluation and review of marina Rubicon, we sincerely hope that we will be able to update our review with better rating in the near future.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Centro Commercial Rubicon, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a sense of cleanliness and order that truly enhanced my shopping experience.

First and foremost, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness throughout the entire mall. The floors were spotless, the restrooms were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was inviting. It was evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, which made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit.

Another aspect that stood out to me was the wide range of options available when it came to food and clothing. The food court offered an array of choices, catering to various tastes and preferences. From local cuisine to international delicacies, there was something to satisfy every craving. Likewise, the clothing stores featured an impressive selection of fashionable clothing brands, ensuring that shoppers had plenty of options to choose from.

However, it is worth mentioning that some items in the mall were on the expensive side. While the quality and variety were commendable, it's important to be mindful of your budget when shopping at Centro Commercial Rubicon. Nevertheless, I found that the overall experience justified the prices to some extent, as the mall provided a comfortable and enjoyable environment for shopping and dining.

In addition to the cleanliness and variety, the mall's layout was well-designed, making navigation a breeze. Signage was clear and informative, making it easy to find the stores and amenities I was looking for. The staff members I encountered were friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any inquiries or directions needed.

Overall, my experience at Centro Commercial Rubicon was a positive one. The cleanliness, extensive choice of food and clothing, and the overall pleasant ambiance left me impressed. While the prices may be a tad high, the quality and convenience offered made it worthwhile. Whether you're looking for a place to shop, dine, or simply enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend paying a visit to Centro...

A wonderful place that I've visited dozens of times but sadly will not be visiting Marina Rubicon again due to cruelty unnecessarily inflicted on the wonderful cats. The location is idyllic and relaxing with cafes, restaurants and interesting shops. Many Cats have roamed the area and were historically totally reliant on tourists until 2015 when Freddy's Cathouse Charity was founded. Since Freddy has been involved the quality of life for these poor creatures has improved no end. Where once they were starving, neglected, breeding, fighting, spraying and going to desperate measures to survive or suffer a painful death they now are sterilised, monitored, cared for, feed & watered thanks to Freddy and his wonderful team of volunteers. By being cared for they do not stray and pester hotels, Cafes or restaurants as they know their feeding stations will be replenished. The stance by the Director of Marina Rubicon to remove and refuse these gorgeous cats access to any of the above during a pandemic when as we know there are no tourists is beyond cruel. I will always visit Lanzarote and suppport Freddy however this will stay long in the memory and The Marina Rubicon will definitely be adversely affected if this barbaric stance is not reversed as Freddy's Cathouse has 7,500+ Facebook followers that like me will be horrified and word will spread.
