One of the most expensive pubs in Goteborg to have a drink or to eat some pub food (229sek for a cordonbleu schnitzel, 175sek lax dish, 129sek small cheese platter). If I want to pay that much for food, I will go to a normal restaurant not a pub! They do have a wide range of beer that they charge 10x more than the price they bought it for (90sek to 125sek sometimes even 150sek).
The location is really practical, but they don't have a very luxury view or interior or extraordinary service, so I do not understand why it is so expensive here!!
They also don't have those huge umbrellas in case it rains, for the outside seats. Never prepared when that happens.
At those prices, their service should be top notch, but unfortunately it's not. E.g. They have bad memory. Try remembering your frequent costumers!
P.s. also, they stalk you online to send messages after a review! Extremely unprofessional....

Great selection of dishes in rotation, everything well presented and delicious. Also, a wide selection beers from around the world. There you will always find something new. The interior is well-furnished, a place where you can relax and have a sense of privacy. It's hard to find a place like this, where the customer is so well-treated and doesn't leave with an...
Read moreStation Linné in Gothenburg is a fantastic gastropub that do good food and beer. One big plus for us was the diversity of available beer on tap. For lunch, I ordered the panko-breaded fried haddock which was lovely and cooked well, in addition to reaching our table at a reasonable time from ordering. The manager and/or owner of this place really comes across as someone who really worked hard on nailing the atmosphere and décor of a modern, Swedish gastropub. Very clean place too and would definitely recommend Station Linné...
