Well coming from India and have lived almost 25 years, for me indian restaurants are to give me home styled cooked food. The elephant stands true for that perspective in all aspects.
Ambience:- it is located one of the nicest and old town styled area with nice European style buildings from early 1900s or before. The restaurant is having both indoor and outdoor sitting ( of course in summer ).
Taste and quality:- The taste of the food is almost Indian styled cooked. The range of offerings is also quite huge compared to local restaurants in the same area. Quality also is maintained at very decent level.
Price and quantity:- To me personally the price is appropriate considering the quality as well as location and service You of the restaurant. Although it is still pricey in general compared to other food joints. I think the quantity of the servings could be more fair based on the price being paid by customers.
Service :— The girls and guys are quite generous and service minded. I have seen that not all of them speak Swedish, but hey I can survive with English and Hindi :)

Cheers and enjoy food and "Beware...
Read moreReview in short, easily one of the best places in Gothenburg to try out North Indian food! The lady who took our order was so friendly and spent good time explaining their recommended food items as well as knowing our preferences. We had jal jeera and variety of veg starters to begin with followed by naan with veg & non-veg gravies. not even a single dish disappointed us! Paneer Tikka, Paneer Masala, Masala papad, Chilli cheese naan and Chicken Vindaloo were our favorites ☺️ Our toddlers enjoyed their barn menu too. When we thought we were full and so happy with our meal, the lady (next time I will ask her name for sure) suggested jamun with vanilla ice cream, and we had the best dessert in the world!🤤 We were super hungry so just managed one photo of our dessert. Definitely...
