DISAPPOINTING!!! My Partner and I asked specifically for a relaxing massage without much pressure. We asked if the 2h signature massage was relaxing and they reassured us it was and there was no pressure. It started with a foot massage which was alright but then they put their body weight on you while you are laying on a bed hard like rock without a hole for your head. Means your head is on the side and it puts a lot of pressure on the spine which was super painful and I wanted to cry. All they did was walk their elbow or hand over your back without massaging anything. It felt like pointless placing of pressure. They didn’t even ask which strength we want. I was hoping for it to get better but the rest of the massage was also just clueless rubbing around without oil on the fabric of the clothes. It felt like they weren’t trained and had no idea of what to do. I’ve had many massages before and this was by far the worst. The hot press later felt totally ridiculous and at some point I just got burnt as she left the stamps too long on one spot without asking once how it is. We finally interrupted and left as my partner experienced the exact same thing. I understand know why they make you pay before the treatment. At the reception I got asked how it was and I gave an honest explanation and she had the audacity to tell me that when she proposed a different massage in the beginning I said I did’t like oil, which I never said and my partner can verify. So instead of apologising they tried to blame me. If I ask a « professional » about their opinion what fits best to what I want I expect a fitting outcome and not the exact opposite of what I ask for. in 40 years of existence one of the worst massage experiences i have encountered,

you get hustled in while reading the menu outside, after picking a neck and shoulders massage you get told to pay first, i can only imagine others were probably displeased by what they received after the "massage"

first i put my feet in a bowl of warm water, i get salt and lemon rubbed on the top of my foot, the whole experience was superficial and took less than 2 mins,

then me and my partner get put into a room with 2 other people as our masseuse announce loudly that we were to lay down on a flat and hard bed with no neck hole, putting a lot of pressure on the spine then started gossiping with the other masseuses working,

the whole massage was done with routine and complete disinterest of being present or our choice of massage type, the massage was mostly gentle squeezes of infant strength and whatever felt good was and accident or short lived.

everything could be felt that it was done to waste time., we were just human meat passing through to provide bhats,

as i felt my life was getting wasted and the bed was making my neck and back hurt even more, i finally sat up in defiance so the lady would stop falling asleep and asked her to focus on my neck and back,

i could feel suddenly a lot of rage strength which easily could have gotten out of control and injure me if i didn't flow my body with the pressure. i'll find out tomorrow if any damage was done.

Edit/update: FELT (SOMEWHAT) SCAMMED. After going a couple of times to this place, I decided to buy some of the fishermen’s pants that they had for sale. Upon opening the packaging at home, I noticed that the string to tie the pants was missing. I went back to the store, told them about my problem and asked if they had one that was not missing a piece. They wanted to exchange it for a pair of the same model but different color, but the price tag was 100 BHT cheaper than the one I originally bought. When they saw that, they immediately raised the price of the second pair by 50 BHT even though I saw that the price tag was different. They wouldn’t have it. It left me feeling scammed; the original product was faulty, the pants they offered me were of a different color, and they changed the price in front of my eyes. At the end of the day, 50 BHT is not a whole lot of money, but it does raise questions about their business integrity. Sadly, I will not come back, as I had planned to do.
