Zeroo Tattoo Chiangmai — Local services in Chiang Mai Province

I went there, because of all the great reviews and have to admit I was a bit disappointed :( I cannot comment or have anything bad to say on their skill, I think that they are all very good artists! But the service there was a bit weird and not great for me.

I went there with two quite simple design ideas and made an appointment for the following week. One day before I wrote them if they had any design they could send and to reconfirm the time. They said no, they have another customer, then realized that this customer was me, so that already was a bit weird to me. Also, they did not send anything I could look at. I thought we would go over the design at the appointment. But it felt really rushed when I got there. Maybe my feeling is wrong, but I felt that the artist didn't like my idea (or maybe it was too "simple" for them) and so they did not really want to invest any time in it. Also I wanted the tattoo to look like done with a paint brush (no sharp edges, more blurry) and the artist said she understood, but I was not happy with the result and she did not show me any reference before so I could give feedback. I was quite upset, but did not know how to make it better, so I then asked if I could come back to adjust it a little bit and they were a bit annoyed and said no, because then they would have to open up a new needle. (Which would have been ok, I would have paid of course).

Also, I was there with a friend who got 2 bigger tattoos than me, one even colored, and we still paid the same price (which was still cheap, so I don't want to complain, but I thought it was a bit weird). As I waited for my friend to finish I was close to tears, but the artist did not seem to bother. Maybe she did not notice.

The other tattoo was done ok, it was only a simple line, it was done very fast and healed very nicely!

All in all I would have wished for them to give me more time to discuss the design and be more helpful as I clearly wasn't happy after we finished.

Disappointing experience. I was very excited to get my tattoo done here after reading the reviews and looking at the previous work on Instagram.

Spent time explaining and designing the tattoo with the artists, which in hindsight felt a little rushed and like the artist wasn’t interested in my design. I was however very happy with the design, the final edit was I just wanted it to be scaled larger. The artist said we would make final size and placement adjustments on the day of the tattoo.

So I booked my appointment and came in, but felt unwelcome and almost like the artist didn’t like me. Spoke about the size adjustments and spent a little time testing a print out, but then the artist suddenly just said how they don’t want to do the tattoo and that they don’t feel the right emotion and that I apparently didn’t know what I wanted. Even though the design was finalised and it was just a size adjustment needed.

Overall very strange experience, I usually have great interactions with most people so I don’t know if the artist was just having a bad day or if I had done something to insult him, if I did then I apologise. But my experience was one of poor customer service and...
