This is one of the oldest and most spiritually significant shrines in Phuket, filled with the faith and devotion of the local community. I had the opportunity to take part in the Poh To ceremony, where locals pray to turtles for good fortune, make merit for wandering or forgotten spirits, and ask for blessings of happiness and prosperity from Poh To.

It was a truly peaceful and meaningful experience.

I also had the chance to pay respect to Poh To, the guardian deity of the shrine. It was a powerful moment that made me feel deeply connected to a living local tradition.
