We visited this place because the internet suggested a free pottery activity. I also called before reaching. He said it was free. After we got there, he said that he only sold clay items and that he did not have a workshop. Then he offered to take us to a different place and it will cost 300 TRY per person but if we bought something at the shop it will be free. We agreed and got there. The son who runs the shop was extremely helpful and gave us detailed information not just about the pieces in the shop but freely shared information about the history of Avanos.
