Good location - nice view. Make sure to book in advance the highest floor , table by the window. Otherwise you will end up lonely like us on the lower terrace , where it was windy and cold. Starters were good. I loved Argula salad ( even though oranges were unnecessary there) and mushrooms with cheese were tasty. Bread did not seem fresh , too crispy and hurts your gum. Turkey is a country if great bread. I am sure that can be fixed. We don’t drink alcohol , fresh orange juice was great. How ever the non alcoholic drinks menu is extremely limited . Music was nice and not loud. Service was extremely fast- and that was a major problem . Entire food came at once! We just began with starters when steaks arrived, of course we refused to eat them directly , cause you should eat the meat while it’s hot. Apparently the waiter just kept them aside , as when we were ready for our meat it came barely warm. It was chewy and frankly tasteless. Not a single sauce is offered for a steak. When we asked for salt and pepper waiter only brought us chili . That brings me to the third and most upsetting point - service is very bad. A man who is probably a manager in black suite is super grumpy , never smiles, not helpful at all. Never checked on us even though he saw we struggled with the order. The waiter who served us barely spoke any English . He works in a stake house and did not know words like medium rare steak. Or salt!!!! I asked which meat he recommends he just pointed in a menu. Steaks come with tasteless vegetables and no proper sides. Prices are normal. Fare for a steak house. Maybe we were extremely unlucky with service that day. But I would...
Read moreI'm still reeling from my incredible dining experience at the Cappadocia Steak House! From the moment I walked in, I was treated like royalty by the attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with rustic stone walls and cozy lighting.
But the real star of the show was the food - oh, the food! I started with the tartar, which was a revelation. The flavors were bold and fresh, with a perfect balance of spices and herbs. It was clear that the chef was a master of his craft.
But the main event was the steak, and oh boy, did it deliver! I opted for the T-bone, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, with a rich, beefy flavor that just melted in my mouth. And the presentation was stunning, with a sprinkle of microgreens and a side of garlic butter.
And if that wasn't enough, the filet mignon was equally impressive. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, with a velvety texture and a deep, rich flavor. I paired it with a glass of red wine, which complemented the flavors beautifully.
Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, answering all our questions about the menu and making excellent recommendations. The timing was also perfect, with each course arriving at just the right moment.
In short, my experience at the Cappadocia Steak House was truly unforgettable. If you're a steak lover like me, or just looking for a special night out, this is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreOriginal Post: I was slightly apprehensive about trying Cappadocia Steak House as the outside menu did not list prices. However, our decision to stop for dinner was not in vain. The Anatolian Soup (pictured) was outstanding! The price was a very reasonable $3 USD. Since we had a large lunch, we looked for a light meal. We passed on the salad and ordered the Steak Burger (also pictured). The burger contained lean cuts of steak (150 grams) and was perfectly cooked. This generous meal was slightly under $10 USD. (Truth be told, the portion was so large we were unable to finish our meal). The Steak House also serves aged meats which were slightly more expensive than our steak burger. Overall, the ambiance and view rated 5 stars. The service also rated 5 stars. The cost for the quality of food received also rated 5 stars. The only drawback was AMEX was not accepted. Mastercard and Visa were accepted without issue. I highly recommend this establishment if you are a meat eater.
Revised post: We revisited the Steak House for dinner again. I lowered my star rating to 4 due to the horrendous service by the female waitstaff. Their “I don’t care attitude” was somewhat tempered by the male waitstaff, that was courteous and...
