I recommend stopping by for the view and not the food. We stopped by for a light snack on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the Turkish appetizer plate, vegetable samosas, and the fried calamari. The quality of the food and service did not meet my expectations. Communication was an issue. While I do not expect everyone in the tourist industry to speak English, things were still lost in translation. It is not my intention to sound harsh, but you can find other places in Uchisar with better food and service at a better price. AMEX and other major credit cards...

I came here for a light dinner and to sample the local wine, and ended up enjoying everything on the terrace as the sun set. The artisanal salad was beautiful and delicious, the mozzarella starter was served with a gorgeous olive tapenade, and they had a lovely creamy fig pudding that was a nice change from the typical baklava. The only thing we didn’t like as much was the calamari; it was well cooked and tender, but the pieces were bigger than I expected and a little hard to eat. Recommended by hotel for proximity. Lovely restaurant and staff. Starters were great but both our mains fell short.

He had chicken roulade and chicken was so so so dry. I ordered sole fish with veggies but they gave me salmon with risotto which was dry, pricier and too much carbs (I just wanted veggies!). But since they took that as the order despite hubs pointing to sole on English menu we didn’t want to argue as language is also a problem. Otherwise it was a lovely and relaxing...
