A truly breathtaking dawn hot air balloon flight — arranged last-minute with ease by the wonderful Ms. Farida at Love Valley Travel Agency. We dropped by their Uchisar office at 8:30 PM, and just seven hours later, we were en route to the Monks Valley (Paşabağ) launch site.

Our skilled pilot Ms. Sabire and her friendly ground crew guided us gracefully across 10 km of Cappadocia’s most iconic landscapes over the course of an hour. We floated at around 8,000 ft (1,800 m) above sea level, hovering 500–800 m above the terrain — perfect altitude for panoramic, drone-like views without losing the magic of the fairy chimneys, Zelve Open Air Museum, Love Valley, and Ortahisar Castle.
