Ever feel let down when a picture of a burger looks six inches tall but when you open the box it looks like a pancake? NOT HERE! Prepare yourself to be impressed the Mexican burgers we had today are without doubt the best we have ever had. Tasty, expertly packaged in a pristine establishment manned by well turned out friendly staff• Okay they’re a bit more expensive than the run of the mill burger but you are actually getting a meal that will satisfy you. We will be going back again no worries! UPDATE Have been back several times and enjoyed the food sadly it appears they don’t open during the day presently. Tried their delivery service we are about three or four miles away food arrived on time the chips were as usual to die for and the food was piping hot. The salad had cooked on the burgers though it might be an idea to have a box of salad and a dressing separate to the main meal? Grandson loved his cheese burger alas the chicken in Peri Peri sauce was tough not nice at all I think if you’re going to do gourmet burgers your trimming and preparation of things like chicken breast needs to be spot on this was fatty and had sinew in it which rather let them down. First visit to Ohannes and it certainly will not be the last. When we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff. Our food was cooked to order and was nothing short of excellent. I had a cheese burger and fries and my partner had the piri piri chicken burger and fries. Both burgers and fries were excellent and the portion of fries was huge. The quality of the food shone through. The bill was a total £19.50 for both of us . When you think a couple of quarter pounder meals from MacDonalds is around £18 and you are lucky to get a good one, coming to Ohannes is a no brainer. I really can't find fault with either my meal,the cost,or the excellent staff that made us so welcome. I must also add that the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Have passed this place a few times on the bus and finally got to give it a try...and very glad I did!

We had an evening sit in meal at the few tables available. Ordering was quick and easy...

Food was served quite quickly given everything was cooked up fresh. We both had the Xmas chicken burger, and the quality and taste of the burger, chips, and onion rings was excellent. Fries had a lovely seasoning with a slight minty taste (which I loved).

Tables were clean, and seats very comfortable. Great rock music playing in the background - tho I do wish the heaters were on more as it was a little chilly inside.

Service from the staff was also excellent and friendly.

All in all, a fantastic first visit - and given how the missus enjoyed her food as well, I'm sure we'll be back...
