I am very dissapointed with Bath Domestic Appliances ltd. I had such a great experience with them in the past when they provided an excellent service. But this is when the family member used to work in the shop. Hollie who manages the shop currently does not have time to talk to you when you come in person as she is off to hospital in the middle of the day or she is not in the shop for two days in a row as she explained to me. She does not reply to emails either. So the communication is very difficult with her. She also booked an installation of my hob installation two weeks in advance for a certain date for the morning slot. As she had to run to hospital she suggested the further communication would take place over the emails. When I asked her what time can I expect the installation to take place that morning I booked the time slot for : she did not respond until the day before installation ( 2 weeks after the initial booking) with an invoice and an afternoon slot!!! I go to work and I cannot change my plans last minute that is why I booked a certain day and the time slot. When the installation took place I have not experienced more unfriendly team who crashed the package they brought into our radiator with a massive bang expressing their unwillingness to be doing their job. They brought their tools laying them on to my kitchen surfaces and they scratched my kitchen surface with their careless attitude. They were really unfriendly and unpleasant. Had I not asked questions they wouldn’t even communicate with me. Awful attitude from the shop manager and from the installation team. I will never go back to BDA after this experience and will sadly rather go to bigger companies who are cheaper and friendlier and can keep up with the arrangement times and slots. Also Hollie did not have any interest to give us a choice of hobs available: instead she gave us one option of stock I assume she wanted to get rid of. Read moreInstalled a washing machine handle in July 2019. Upon me using it for the first time it easily broke off while trying to open the door after a cycle. Though they did not charge a service fee, they did charge me for the handle.
The reason for the 2 stars is that the previous lock was obviously faulty or the installation wasn't done properly. I did give them an extra star for not charging service fees out of good faith but the fact that I was blamed for what was either a Manufacturer or Contractor error has left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
I don't post this review out of spite, I post it because I would much rather have opened the door with a bit of string rather than fork out £30 for a washing machine handle (Not including potential service fees) and they didn't even entertain the thought that it wasn't my fault, they didn't even try to see it from my side of the situation, which I thought was pretty aroggant. I'm not saying the customer is always right but that doesn't mean the business is always right either.

They came and looked at my tumble dryer and charged me £30 call out fee, told me they would get back to me with a repair estimate as they couldn’t fix it on the day. I waited over a week and no contact from them. I called them, was told the paperwork was lost somehow and they would get in contact with me about the repair estimate “tomorrow”... it is now another week after I called them and I’ve still received no quote for the repair of my tumble dryer. So I’ve basically paid them to come to my house and then do absolutely nothing about repairing my broken tumble dryer!!
