I was really quite excited when I saw Banables were still in operation after so many years, I remember shopping in there with my mum then onwards with my young children in tow... I am now very much in middle age myself! A trip down memory lane with my son showing him where I grew up I decided to go in. Not a huge purchase, I am on my own now... A couple of sausages and 2 faggots... Upon being given my change I queried it staying I had paid with a £10 not not a five. I was told no it was a five... But I know it wasn't. I had previously been in Dorothy house where I had paid by card and before that the cats and drugs charity shop where they didn't have change of my £10 so I scrolled through my purse for suitable small change for them. I feel really disappointed by the member of staff in the butchers. A older gent with glasses, not Steve who I remembered from years ago. As a widow on her own every penny counts and I feel I was completely dismissed and unheard. Watch your change everyone... In fact... Pay by card... I never expected this from such a wonderful...
