Food was great but service could have been better.

Came in with my friend to get breakfast, the lady that served me was quite hostile and not very welcoming. Asked her if we could come back to get our bagels as we needed to go just across the street quickly, and she responded quite annoyed or shocked like I wasn’t gonna come back?? Said thanks, have a good day when I left, got completely ignored as well.

To be fair, I have been here multiple times and the people serving me have always been nice and have been very welcoming, except for this one time. Dunno if I’m overreacting but because I had a high expectation from the shop due to previous experiences that this small thing has disappointed me a bit.

Also where did the nice blue packaging go??

The food is great but so unaffordable!! I mean £7.90 for a bacon egg and cheese thats not even that big is kinda...

I’d heard a lot about Taylor Bagels before visiting, and it didn’t disappoint – exactly what I needed after a heavy weekend in London! I ordered the New Yorker, and while the filling was great, the real star was the bagel itself – perfectly chewy and flavourful, almost making the filling feel secondary. My only gripe was the signage: the shop states breakfast bagels are “served all day,” but I was told otherwise at the counter. We always make sure to stop by Taylors whenever we're in Bath. It's a breakfast/brunch that sets you up for the day! They've recently added a few more specials to the menu, we tried the ham hock with piccalilli which was very good according to the husband, and I had the falafel one which was yummy.
