A new Thai restaurant on the High Street. We (2 of us) arrived late at nearly 9pm on a Tuesday, but the owner was happy to seat us. He was very polite and hospitable. We were the only customers at that time and our food was cooked immediately and arrived within 10 minutes. I had a chicken curry dish with jasmine rice (I forget the name of the dish but it was delicious) and my friend had pad Thai with beef, we also had the salt and pepper crispy tofu which was excellent. (It is a small place so if you're a large group you should book in advance.) I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

Wow! They should be full all the time. What a quality of the food! There is sooo many cheap restaurants in the city centre which are constantly full, but they are not as good as Thai Wok. Come and dine in, amazing food, full of flavours, authentic with cosy design and atmosphere inside and kind staff. Various prices offers and share plate options if you have a bit less to spend

Had some serious holiday depression after coming from Thailand, on my south east Asia tour. Was missing singha beers and authentic Thai food. Then i spotted this place, and walked In, one of the best food places in Bath in my opinion. The Tom kha was delicious and the pad Thai was sublime, I’m making this my regular hot spot. If I were you I should too!

I checked out all the positive reviews before deciding this would be a great place to get a takeaway Thai meal. Obviously there are many others but as this is relatively new and with such good reviews I thought I would try this one. I ordered and picked up a green Thai curry takeaway. Although the preparation time and service for the pick up were great and friendly, I was very disappointed when I got home and tried the actual meal. There was very little chicken indeed and quite limited veg also. Compared to other green Thai curries I’ve had e.g. Thai balcony and the Thai restaurant in Chelsea Road the sauce was thin ( too liquidy) and flavour rather too salty. In my opinion there is no way it was worth the price charged. Maybe I was unlucky but it was certainly a very disappointing meal and as things stand I would not return or recommend the food here. I have had no reply from the restaurant despite contacting them via email on 16/8 and again a week later. 12/9 update. Following comment from owner about not receiving any communication from me I again sent the email and received no reply. I then called but could not get through to anyone and so left a message explaining why I was calling, my name and contact number. Again no reply whatsoever. I consider the lack of reply very insincere and clearly they have no interest whatsoever in addressing poor food...

A Memorable Thai dinner at Thailand Wok. Last week, I enjoyed a delightful Thai dinner at Thailand Wok. The experience was a treat for both taste and sight.

The Pad Thai was a standout, with flat rice noodles stir-fried to perfection, mixed with meat, crunchy vegetables, and a sprinkle of peanuts, all drizzled with a tangy sauce that offered a perfect balance of sweet and sour notes.

The Yellow Curry in the small bowl was rich and aromatic, featuring a creamy coconut base with hints of turmeric, garnished with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes—every spoonful was comforting and flavorful.

The Thai-Style fish, served steaming in a metal dish with lime wedges and herbs, was fresh and zesty, with the citrus and chili adding a vibrant kick.

The restaurant’s warm ambiance, with its rustic wooden decor and cozy lighting, paired wonderfully with the food. The open kitchen view added an authentic touch, though the portions felt slightly small for the price. Thailand Wok delivers authentic Thai flavors that linger—definitely worth a...

If you’re looking for truly authentic Thai cuisine, Thailand wok is an absolute gem!

We started with the Tom Yum soup—a perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory. The Phad Thai was among the best I’ve ever had: not too sweet, with just the right amount of it. And don’t miss the green curry—rich, creamy, and bursting with fresh herbs!

The staff were incredibly friendly and happy to adjust spice levels to suit your taste. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with beautiful Thai decor that adds to the overall experience.

Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine flavors and...
