Saviour of the street. Since new ownership, has become a really great shop. Core Fruit and Veg is better and cheaper than the supermarkets nearby - and there's anyways something tempting on offer (my veg intake has definitely gone up). They're my definite first choice - and with extended opening hours, mean I can pop in on the way back from work.

Aside from the fresh veg, there seems to be an every-increasing selection of "interesting other stuff" - proper flat-breads were a great start and now have been joined with a tray of of french breads. There's a whole wall of interesting stuff now running down the left hand side of the store, and I'll always try...

The best local grocers you could wish for. Fabulous fruit and veg, alongside an incredible selection of middle eastern staples such as couscous, zataar, fermented whey, frozen falafel, olives, rice etc. They also sell fresh bread, and a great range of spices and herbs. Topped off with friendly people makes this the best shop of any description you could wish...

Creepy male staff AVOID!! The male staff member made me feel uncomfortable by pressuring me into revealing personal information. He took my student ID to get my name and even stole something from my bag and told me to ‘come back for it tomorrow’ so that he could see me again. All of this was unwelcome and forceful. Sadly, I will not be returning...
