A delightful spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! Old Time Favourites, established in 1905, is the oldest sweet shop in Ireland, and it truly feels like stepping back in time. The shop has a fantastic selection of traditional sweets, many of which will bring back memories for those who grew up with classic treats. The atmosphere is beautifully old-fashioned, adding to the charm. They also have some vegan options, which is a nice touch. The lady working there is so friendly, and I had a wonderful conversation with her. It’s clear she takes pride in offering both nostalgic and unique sweet options. It’s a must-visit if you’re in the area and looking for a taste of Ireland’s sweet history! Highly recommend it!

Thank you Eugene for your generous help in providing suitably coloured sweets for our Ukrainian coffee morning. They went down a treat. What an amazing Aladdin’s cave of sweets of every colour and flavour. Definitely worth a visit!

Oh my word. Discovered this place a few weeks ago while on a shopping trip to Belfast . Took my sister and I right back to our 1970's childhood. The selection of sweets in jars was phenomenal, many we haven't seen since our childhood days and nothing was too much bother for the friendly assistant, explaining things and letting us taste some .There was ..... Army & navy drops , chocolate toffee rolls , pear drops , acid drops , floral gums , cherry lips , pineapple cubes , cola cubes , ooooh the list goes on & on & on . There's also a very large selection of sugar free to suit diabetic taste. They only trouble we had, was what to choose. Never in my 55 years have I ever spent the guts of £30 on 1/4's and 2.oz's of assorted sweets . I'll be reviewing my...

What a greatattraction for my wife Angela and me! We read about the shop in our travel-book and searched for it when visiting Belfast. On entering the shop the walls are full of candy, sweets and all the other "sins" we can think of. Such a pleasure to look around and read all the names and tastes of all the variants: from jelly beans to lemon drops or banana candy. Name it and you will find it here. Of course we couldn't get out without some of the delights and strongly recommend this to all the other visitors. A must-have in the list of Belfasts attractions! Angela & Reinhart from...
