(The Belfast Campus). A ‘trippy’, futuristic building - The glass and steel structure looks like something from the future.

Most of its interior is similar with glass, steel and a warehouse feel from the open ceiling which has visible sprinklers, cameras and devices. This makes it seem like a constantly evolving universe from the movie, Inception. The slight vibrations from the floor add to its otherworldly feel.

As if in response to the similar design facade pronouncement, the building explodes with a burst of colours as you visit the Belfast School of Art and Student Wellbeing sections.

The building won the 2024 RSUA Building of the Year, as well as the Liam McCormick Prize and Living Places Award.

The campus was designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, McAdam Design, Scott Tallon Walker, and White Ink Architects.

It’s very futuristic and hosts lecture halls, a school of Art, the Academy Restaurant, library, mosque, a sky bridge that connects buildings, and a 350-seat lecture theatre, with plans for futuristic, sustainable power generation/storage among...

2nd Year Student here, if you’re applying to universities on UCAS and you read this, please consider ulster as a choice:

From a new state of the art university campus to plenty of calming and welcoming areas for you to relax between lectures or to study with your classmates, the university has everything.

The lecturers actually care for their students and attempt to provide an engaging and resourceful atmosphere for students to learn. (Even if you’re shattered from partying the night before)

With societies that you can join to make friends and survive the social aspect of university, you’re spoilt for choice, with events in the uni bar and plenty of great things happening every day.

Would...

Huh huh. This is really unfair to any student the security man shouted you can’t enter at he’s loudest voice, what a terrible day for me as a...

Spent good time at the Ulster School of Business and Economics. The best faculty, library, and labs with a wide variety of courses to offer. The nearest train station is a short walk. The bus centre is right at the front door of the university. There are many cafes within the campus. The main cafeteria serves all food options such as vegetarian, vegan, and halal. Highly Recommended!
