I started coming here because they had a student discount which was great for me. I even got their loyalty card and kept going back until I had all 8 stamps. I was honestly looking forward to that one free coffee after being a regular for so long. But when I went to get my free one and asked for my usual vanilla latte, the staff told me I’d have to pay 50p extra for the syrup. Seriously? After buying 8 coffees from them, they still couldn’t just let me have the syrup? It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. I felt really let down. Poor experience. Staff unfriendly, couldn’t understand what they were saying, food was okay. Overpriced for what it was and was cooked to the point it burnt my mouth. Female member of staff at the till was extremely rude, spoke to her friends instead of serving me, let them cut the queue in front of me too. She got frustrated when I couldn’t make out what she was saying to me. Iced coffee was poor tasting too.
