Always an amazing experience! - UPDATE! That was single handedly the best steak I've ever eaten in my life. I had the 50 day aged 2X Fillet Mignon. It was nothing short of exceptional. We were served by Amy who was very attentive, and extremely pleasant. She rang the bell for us and it was lovely to see the Chefs respond with cheer. We'll done everyone. VERY IMPRESSED!!!! UPDATE: Have just been for a celebratory meal after getting married, and I would love to thank them AGAIN for an incredible meal. Unfortunately, they have recently been broken into, and have had to adapt and change the layout of the restaurant to accommodate guests. Needless to say, it was seemless. We booked for 20:30, and were at our table at 20:30. Our waitress Louise was absolutely incredible, really down to earth , and although clearly rushed off her feet with the custom and situation, still found the time to make sure her interactions with us were calm and real. She made the time to talk to us and acted as if there was zero pressure. She is and was a true professional. Me and my wife were extremely impressed by her and the way she kept cool under pressure, and made us feel so at home. We'll done Louise. You made our night what it was. Thank you. As always, a great experience and I cant thank you all enough. As a team, you smashed this considering your circumstances. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

A Culinary Triumph Dining at Millers was an experience worth savouring, particularly with their exquisite fillet steak cooked medium, which stood as the star of the meal. From the moment it arrived at the table, I was captivated by its perfectly seared exterior, promising a juicy and tender interior. Each bite confirmed my expectations — the steak was perfectly cooked, maintaining a rich flavour and a delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture. It was paired elegantly with a rich beef dripping sauce that elevated the entire experience, adding an umami depth that complemented the meat flawlessly. The side offerings further enhanced the feast. The onion loaf was a delightful surprise, featuring layers of crispy onions enveloping a soft, flavorful core. It provided a wonderful contrast to the steak's richness, making it an excellent accompaniment. The French fries, crisp and golden, were the ideal sidekick, perfectly seasoned and immensely satisfying. Each bite was addictive, creating a delightful crunch that paired well with both the steak and the sauce. What truly made this dining experience stand out was the total package of flavours — the combination of the tender fillet, robust onion loaf, and crispy fries created a symphony of textures and tastes that left me yearning for more.

I'd love to say that I had a great time this evening but I was turned away at the door by security, very politely, because I was wearing jogging bottoms. Sudden introduction of a dress code scuppered my steak. However, we ended up at The New Talbot just down the road and had an amazing curry and saved about £60. I'm 57, fat, polite, almost nice. Judging someone by their pants is archaic and blinkered. Remember those days when everyone had to wear a suit and tie to work because it was professional and then it was discovered that comfort was better? It was like going back in time. I could've played the medical card due to a shin condition meaning that I have to wear loose materials but no. What's next M&C, racial profiling? There are statistics. You could also check if people are on benefits couldn't you. Why not pre-auth me for £200 forfeit if I turn out to be a belligerent git? I'd have happily done that. Instead you lost my very polite and thankful custom. Damned shame as I really fancied a huge steak and lots of beer. Hopefully my lack of custom and tips won't affect your profits too much, no more than having door staff filtering miscreants like my evil self.

Visited here last night , Paris was our waitress she was lovely , nothing was too much trouble, We ordered 50 day aged sirloin medium rare the sharing board and 50 day aged surf and turf. The sirloin was over cooked, they did take it away and cooked a fresh one which was cooked how I asked, however for 50 day dry aged black it was quite red still and didn't taste like it should in fact it was quite chewy, I am a bit of a steak connisuer and was dissapointed by the quality , I expected it to just melt in my mouth, it was dry almost. The surf and turf order was brought out wrong, no turf, this had to be cooked again too. The rump was extremely fatty all through, Aberdeen Angus sirloin was a nice piece of meat but over cooked. They said they would take the 2 meals off the bill. I can honestly say I have eaten better quality 30 day Dry aged fillet, sirloin and rump from ALDI.................. My advice, save yourself well over £120 Cook it yourself , this review may seem harsh but when paying over 200 pound you expect exceptional quality .

Hyped. It’s a slightly posher Harvester or Beefeater. Incredibly busy and rushed waiting staff, restaurant full when we arrived, almost empty when we left. We had the three course meal, my ribeye cooked to perfection, cauliflower wings crisp. Thanks to Lee, the named chef on our bill card. Unfortunately a couple of sirloins were gristly. They ran out of several options for all courses, due to a new menu next week, we were told. Chocolate orange bombe fell over and had about half a tsp of mousse in both that we ordered. My sticky toffee could have been from a supermarket for what it tasted. Again, felt like a chain restaurant but more expensive. Cocktails good but mocktail tasted of synthetic sugar syrup. The booths are cramped for 6 adults. After all the hype I’ve heard for years, I sadly won’t return. The restaurant was spotless and a large free car park.

My husband and I had a fantastic lunch at Miller and Carter on Monday. We'd booked a table at 12 and when we arrived the restaurant was fairly quiet, but it got busy very quickly. Our table was tucked away so it still felt quiet private despite that. Service was well paced and we were served by Louise, who was very friendly. We ordered the three course set lunch menu and had some mocktails to go with it. It was very reasonably priced and our total bill came to about £42. For starters, we both had the calamari which was wonderfully crispy and fresh. We then had the steak sandwiches (£3 supplement each), which were delicious and perfectly cooked to the temperature we had each requested. After this we were quite full, but just couldn't resist the chocolate pot, which was very rich and a lovely end to our meal. We will definitely be visiting again!
