there was a verry interesting experience for me , i was walking by odeon for 1 year but today i just feel i have time and mood , i got in and i try find some movie and there was around 3 of employs and they gjive me space and time to loking around when i dexide to ask about tikets i loking one one of the employed from there and right away with a verry king smile help me and guid me true the spet verry nice to my choise of movie i buy tiket verry quick and smooth by cash, i come back with 15 min before movie and buy sime food and drink inside and the guy is just sugest me is better to scan my tiket before take food , i was verry happy of that smart sugest of him and i gona scan she tell me my screen and place after i bring my food and i go loking for screen laidy was verry king to remeber my screen and where should i go. over all i was impreat by kindness of ouole there and iven i dont like movie i will go for l being treat nice polite in natural way what make mw feel like ( thay make my day) room of my movie was medium ans creen was medium size but 80% full . sound was verry crispy clear souroundig verry subtile and i feel natural voice and music ( excelent sound) image quality was nice and i do not nitice any incovenince :) puole was quality around and evribody have such a greate time and no ringing phone or any inpolite action. well totaly recomand for a greate quality time smooth verey good for budget and...

Had a nice visit to this cinema yesterday (15th April) to watch Civil War. Probably one of the most unique Odeons in the UK (and certainly one of the most unique we've visited), the building is steeped in nearly a hundred years of cinema history and has a lot of character. After the closure of the Showcase in Cabot Circus, it's also the only remaining cinema in the City Centre. The film was shown in Screen 2. Contrary to some reviews here, the sound system is actually very good and packs a punch (sit in the fifth row from the front) and the screen is actually a decent size. Three types of chairs are available in this screen. Many Odeons have the Premier seats but unfortunately they're not very comfortable, however the blue chairs are just fine. Another unfortunate drawback is the amount of stairs within the building, understandably it's an old building (and apparently it's directly owned by Odeon themselves) and even though it wouldn't be possible to install an elevator, hopefully Odeon would or could put in a stairlift or two in the future, just to assist patrons with mobility problems since it's the City Centre's only remaining cinema. All in all, a good experience nonetheless and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the sound or picture here. Thank you Odeon!

As the only cinema in central Bristol it could do a lot better. Picture was small for the size of the screen and seats had clearly been added to make more room which meant if you were sat at the last 4 or so rows you could barely see the screen over the seats in front of you as they had extra headrests as if for premium seating but were actually in the middle of the rows. What was most annoying however was that the light was left on in the projector room which meant there was a glare on the screen and large shadows cast over half the seats which was extremely distracting especially in a tightly packed showing; and when asked about the light and if it could be dimmed nothing was done. I have never been to a cinema nor an Odeon where the lights were left on in the back before so I’m not sure what the problem was here. Apart from that it was a typical cinema experience with nice staff ect. but paying a lot of money to watch people’s shadows move over the screen every time someone moves during a 2 1/2 run time is a little bit ridiculous. Someone from Odeon corporate maybe needs to visit the screens to see if this is what should be considered a pleasant...
